Frustration starting to set in...Follow

#1 Oct 17 2005 at 6:01 AM Rating: Default
Not for the common reasons though. Here's what's starting to frustrate me. Two things actually; First, i cant sell stuff with the broker, I got the sign and I go to my room and when i leave the room, the stuff isnt in the auction house any more... even if i choose either option when i close the window. Second, I did the crafting quest to make the ten weapons, but it wont let me turn it in. Only thing I havent tried was making them again and having all ten in my inventory... i sold them all because the quest log kept going up. Do I have to have them all in my inventory when I talk to him?

Well thats whats frustrating me, anyone know how to remedy these problems?

With the crafting quests, you always have to keep the stuff in your inventory and he will actually take it from you.

As for selling on the broker. Are the items you are trying to sell in your vault or on your person. If you are not storing them in your vault then they are only up as long as you are in the room. Otherwise your vault items should be up for 24 hrs at a time.

Just to clarify, when you turn in your crafting quest items the writ giver or task giver will pay you about what you would get from a merchant. And it does represent a profit, especially if you harvest your own raws - so it's not a losing proposition to do writs and tasks.

You do have to have the workshop items and tradeskill itmes in your personal inventory. The workshop itmes have to be turned into the workshop task giver and not the tradeskill task giver. The two are completely seperate.

What frustrates me is I can never remember what item I am collecting to the tradeskill task. When I have completed but not turned in the quest no longer lists what the item is. I play 3 differect characters and pass harvested items between them for the different tradeskills. When I go to turn in the quest I have no idea what it was I collected. I know, it's a brain thing on my side but couldn't they add someway of listing what the item is until it has been turned in? Somehow make the quest not complete until you have turned in?

Also, are the items disappearing from your inventory completely? I have heard of a bug where that has happened. If the items are no longer in your room storage or your inventory I would let a GM know. Post a bug report and keep positing until you hear back.

My understanding is that a crafting task from your class guild will net you 120% of cost. While a crafting writ, (given out only in the Ironforge T/S instance), will net you 160% of cost, (in addition to the GSP/PSP).

By using mob drop items whenever possible, (pelts, metal goods etc.), you can parlay this margin up into a tidy sum. Well worth the effort since you probably needed to grind out the XP anyway.

Wait! Items for sale in your vault only stay up for 24 hours at a time? I thought they stayed up for as long as you had them in the vault! I have somethings that are just now selling that I put up a week ago :P

They will stay in the vault but will only be listed for sale for 24 hours. After that they are taken off the for-sale list at the broker.

You just need to log back on to get them listed back onto the broker for another 24 hours.

I thought you had to actually enter your house (or maybe any house seems how you can get money that way) not just log back in to update your items to broker.

My understanding is that you just have to log back in.
