Why is this quest so hard? When you start it its only a level 10 quest, but it makes you go through areas with level 25 undead walking around just waiting to rip you to shreds.
It is especially tough trying to sneek past the undead in thunderin g steppe. I was following one of the posts here and there is no way you can sneak past them all. Does anyone have any suggestions? I am a level 15 summoner on Antonia Bail. My character is stuck at the last outpost in thundering Steppes.

You might try an /ooc that says "please help me" I am trying to defect to the side of good and I need an escort" or something of that nature. I wouldn't be surprised if some one or even a bunch of someones were willing to help you get to safety...

I have done the betrayl quest twice from Freeport to Qeynos. I know exactly what you are talking about. If you are doing the F to Q this thread has a good walk through: http://eq2.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?eq2quest=429

Either way I think the best route through TS is to follow the beach as much as possible. From the dock follow the beach north as high on the wall as you can. You will come to an opening on your left and a low incline that you can climb up. I would go as far north as possible and follow the hill wall to your right. You will be going by the farm fields with undead on your left. Take your time and time it past them. Run like the wind with the hill always on your right.

I agree its a tuff quest, I am going Q to F but as of now stuck on the 2 Heroic named ones in CL. And if you are luck there maybe 2 or 3 peeps in the zone high enough to help but no one seems to want to help :( So as it stands have a 17 summoner with enough exp to get to 19 that I am thinking I may as well delete and start over with as a necro to begin with.
Not worth the trouble to complete the quest, when you can level to 20L in a week :P

Tomii, what server are you on? I am in the middle of doing betrayal from Qeynos to Freeport on Antonia Bayle. I am now to the part where I have to kill 500 orcs and all the named orcs. If you are on Antonia Bayle look for Falaelia. I will be doing this with my guild for the next few nights and maybe you could join us?
To the original poster, I know you are on Antonia Bayle but it sounds like you are going Freeport -> Qeynos? Feel free to look up Falaelia if you need help. I am now in Commonlands so i dont know how much help I'll be but maybe someone in my guild could help.

I wish I was there on that server with you :) But as it stands I am on Permafrost. Was on last night there where four 50+ and two mid 40's and a hand full of 10 to 15L types and no takers :P I guess I will have to join a guild to get this over with Hehehe.
