enjoyable non-typical fighter build?Follow

I am returning to EQII after many months away and I was wondering what a good race/archetype fighter build might be. I really want to enjoy my time back in EQ2, a solo build would be great. Thanks!

Any race can be any class, it really doesn't matter

Also know that you will get gear that gives boosts to your stats. So any beginning difference in stats will soon become overshadowed and won't matter.

In the long run, your gear, not your beginning stats, will determine how good your character can be.

Hmm, an interesting build? Erudite would make a cool monk. Dark elf or wood elf would be interesting, as monks or paladins. Ratonga berzerker could be fun, too. In general, you don't see many Ratongas, Erudites, or Dark Elves as fighters. Also, if you don't mind doing the betrayl quest, consider a Dark elf, Troll, Ogre, Iskar or Ratonga Paladin or Monk. I see a few gnome and halfling fighters, and you could go that route, too.

Personally, I'm rooting for Ratonga monk or Ogre paladin...
