Solo Classes etc.Follow

Yes Pallies are great at soloing, sounds like just the right class for you. And guess what, they get a free horse at level 20
Only downsides, they don't use bows or duel wield.

Don't be surprised if others jump on this thread to say that all classes can solo. It's true, they can. But you sound like a Pally man to me.

As a 42L SK I can take on 4 greens or up 3 bluse and have no problem taking 2 green or blue ^ mobs or 1 green or blue ^^ mob. Tho I do have life taps they are not any where close to the amount of damage I COULD take. So depending on what I am soloing I may or may not use my shield. It takes the same amout of time to kill with or with out my shield.
My DPS comes from my spells so really don't mattter weather u use a higher but slower DPS 2handed over a faster lower dps 1hander, other then the fact that having a shield will save you from taking damage.

And the other thing to remember is that all mobs are not the same. You maybe able to kill 2 blues of one type but take on 2 blues of another type will kick you ***** There are some out there that are wimps and you can solo as red's even but then agin I have been sent running by a gray also.
Know your mob before u pull it or have a 2nd game plane :)

Pally's are pretty good at soloing, with heals and wards, etc. Truthfully, I think Zerkers are pretty amazing soloers. With the ability to use a nice big 2hander, or 1hander and a shield for less damage, or break out the duel wield and go crazy, plus be able to use a bow and kite a mob for a bit. Pretty much just play the class you want to play though, because most all classes can solo just fine.



Sony says all this stuff like "Runs great on Pentium 4/Alienware". Dont beleive them, because it runs like crap on Pentium 4 and Alienware is a gigantic ripoff. Sony gets paid alot by Intel and Alienware to say that, otherwise they wouldnt. Get a computer from Cyberpower Inc. You can get a system that eats an Alienware for half the price.

Cyberpowersystems is my new best friend. thanks alot for this tip. I found a system there that has better stuff than the comparable Alienware and its about $2,000 dollars less.

Well it all depends on how you play and if you know how to play.. I can kill up to 2 Orange con mobs by myself casters or not.. a single ^^ or 2 ^ up to white is doable, and have killed a Yellow ^ by myself, was close but did it. I have done more dps than alot of Monks, Scout types, and other tanks.. it depends on what yoou are using and what you are wearing. It also depends on the spells you use (Palladin), and what combat arts you have.. If you are be bopping around with App I or App II still then I can see your point. I try and get App IV or Adp I-IV or even Masters if I am lucky and get a good price. Dont waste money on a spell if it is going to be upgraded soon though, but have decent spell levels, combat arts in place.. Dont be using spells/ combat arts that are green or grey to you for example.. Just like armor you have to upgrade. You just got to know how to play and what your capable of..

I`m using a laptop that has all the recommended specs from Gateway and its only cost me 1.3k. Hey...um, just thought id let the EQ2 community know, you guys rock. Why? Go take a sit down in the WoW forums anywhere on the web. It's good to be back in this game lol.

IMO Shadowknights are the best soloing fighter class. they can dish out some crazy DPS and heal themselves better than a pally can. especially when you get to higher levels and get reaver ( every time you cast a spell you get healed for 2% of your max HP )

Oh, and to answer the latest necromancer's question - yes, zerker is an *excellent* solo class

While I was aware it was a necropost Sam has a point. With low forum activity it gives a chance to bring up topics that can be helpful. Also it makes me happy because it wouldn't happen if people weren't using the search function.
