Howdilly-hey guls & gals!

I was just wondering... is there a guide or list anywhere that any knows of for what titles are available as prefixes / suffixes in EQ2?

I know how you get the basic Hunter / Slayer titles, but what else is there? It'd be nice to have some idea what I had to do to get myself a new title...

I would like to know how to get a prefix... Suffix's are sure fine and dandy, but I want to get a prefix.
I could be Sir Poldark, Of Maelin Starpyre.
Or Lord Poldark... Or something like that.

im gonna go out on a limb and say prefix titles are going to be awarded when you have a certain number of aa's (alternate advance points) like the way they were in eq1 , of course they need to add aa's to the game before that happens, but... thats probly your best bet on how your gonna get one

You need to remember that the reason they added AA's to begin with, back in EQ1, was because they totally screwed up the normal advancement system to begin with.

Yeah, when you only have 1 way to advance your character, you're gonna need an alternate way of doing it if you're going to stay interested in the game. EQ1 was all about the grind. That's all it was, that's all it is, and that's all it ever will be.

The EQ1 quest system was nowhere near as robust and usable as the EQ2 system is. All they'll need to do in this game is add more quest content. Also, you can join NPC-run organizations in this game. So, what's to stop them from making prefix titles earnable through doing tasks for whatever organization you join?

The day EQ2 raises the level cap for the first time (or adds its first "AA") will be the day EQ2 officially "jumps the shark", for lack of better words. Make the original 50 levels enjoyable at *every* level, and they'll never be a need to raise the cap or add alternate advancement methods.

Raising the cap wouldn't be so bad.. but usualy when they do their empty lvls. FFXI was like that.. most jobs didn't have an ability.. skill or spell for anything after lvl 35-40. But they kept raising lvls.. even though it was nothing but HP and magic.

Anyways for prefixs/suffixes.. mostly task you do so far.

500 kills of a creature gives you a title..

again at like 1000 I think

Best title is after 10000 of a creature type killed. After you aquire those.. can select it from a menu which one you want.

I wouldn't put it out though be other ones later.. crafting related ones after so high or so many of X item made. Something like XX the Baker after so many breads you cook. If not already in.. might be one first things they add.

Does anyone know where the title "Officer in the brokenskull fleet" comes from?
There isn't any information anywhere on it and I'm determined to have a longer name.
As it stands I am currently "The Thrael'Gorr Champion Ilikecookiesand Ibrakeforshinythings, Crash Test Dummy Extraordinaire"

I'm not certain, to be honest. I'd imagine it's from something out in Moors--maybe a faction vendor?

\aITEM 952242520 -1086100396:Title: "Officer in the Brokenskull Fleet"\/a will allow you to link it in-game, maybe someone there can help if no one here can!

I want to say one of the Qeynos factions has a Sir. Or maybe it's guild. Did you check a guild merchant? http://eq2.zam.com/wiki/Category%3ACity_Merchant_%28EQ2_Mob_Type%29
