Guild / Family / ??Follow

Prior to launch I read that there would be 3 tiers of "guilds" if you will. The standard guild, the family (where everyone shares a last name) and a third tier (don't recall the name) that was a small group that shared XP to some extent between themselves.

I know that families did not make it into the game... what about that third tier allowing a small group to share their XP with others?
