eq2=swg with swords?Follow

seems like they are just making eq2 into swg with swords. way too complicated fighting system and advancement. and from what ive read of tradeskilling it is just like swg. no vendor bought items. only way to get tradeskill items is to forage or kill mobs. this is what killed swg for me. way too complicated and just plain boring. sony should have learned from swg not just put out a clone.

I played the Beta of both SWG and EQII. EQII is not SWG with swords. You should play the game. It rocks.

i fully intend to give eq2 a chance but if it is just like swg i will be out after my free month. it was difficult if not impossible to find player vendors that had the needed items and were available. why did they do away with the bazaar? that was one of the best additions to eq. beat the heck out of auctioning in ec. now they want us to sell from our houses so we have to run all over the world to get stuff. they didnt need to fix a system that wasnt broken, the bazaar rocked. making tradeskill items that are worth selling is what was broken in eq. hopefully this has been changed in eq2. it will be interesting to see how it all plays out.

They did away with the Bazaar because it was a Hell of lag. Now you can browse what players have for sale from your apartment, or visit one of many brokers throughout the city. Everyone doesn't have to be in the same zone to use the system, and the vendors aren't all standing around the same place. It's MUCH better.

LAG? WHAT LAG? IF YOU TURNED OFF ALL THE TRADERS AND JUST SEARCHED FOR ONE AT A TIME THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NO LAG. AND A CENTRALIZED AREA MAKES MUCH MORE SENSE THEN TRAVELING ALL OVER THE WORLD FOR ITEMS. AND DOESNT BROKERING COST? BRING BACK THE BAZAAR I SAY

Your inital apartment is free apart from upkeep (5 silver per 7 days).

Buying things off brokers has a 20% markup however your free to go visit the seller in person and buy direct. Travelling around Quenyos/Freeport is no big deal.

You can completely ignore the heroic opportunitys combat system if you wish.
