East coast west coast server quetion...Follow

I was originally going to go to Unrest but then my friend said that hes going to go to Befallen and already has a brother and friends on it. Befallen is east coast though... and I live on west coast.. Unrest is west coast though. How much of a difference in ping will i have between Unrest and Befallen? Will I even notice a difference or are the servers east/west just because of the time difference? thanks all the info would be great. I also had a guild i was going to join on unrest =/.
