Controller shortcut to maximize/sort the chat logFollow

First off, let me say that on the whole I really like the game thus far. I downloaded it last night and played most of today and I enjoyed myself thoroughly. The following is just a suggestion.

My only major complaint is that I can't full-screen the chat log (general log) and sort it by type (tell, party etc.) like I could in FFXI (as far as I know anyhow- today is my first day after all). Sometimes I miss tells or party chat because the chat scrolls out before I see it. I even used the small font option and filters etc. The issue lies more in how long it takes to select the log via mouse and scroll up. In XI I could do this tapping buttons on the controller and be there very quickly.

It seems as though that would be an important feature to add because it makes communication between players easier/more efficient etc. I used it constantly in XI and find myself whacking that button pattern repeatedly out of habit.
