Currently I'm doing the level 34 main quest "Forever Taken" and I'm suppose to get to Mor Dhona and gather some crystals. However on my way to Mor Dhona from the black shroud there are like level 45 to upper level 70 monsters blocking the way and I can't get through there even if im level 37 Lancer. So does anyone know how to go to specific places without getting raped by high leveled monsters? Btw I don't have the high enough stealth ability for DoL to avoid the monsters.

Either go to Mor Dhonna from Ul'dah, or going from Crimsonbark Camp but use the Northern most route (you will find only lvl 40ish Vultures there) on Chocobo.

Almost always, if there are high lvl mobs on the path you're on, take another one. It can be frustrating... but it's part of the journey I suppose.

have a high lvl friend to teleport you and escort you to your mainstory quest
please yoshi bring us back to a realm with true sneak and invisibility spells, items, and abilitahz.
This is frustrating when this happens. I am doing the very first company quest in Gridania, Breaking the Seals, which is a lvl 22 quest. There is one area (44,44) where there is level 48-53 monsters. Really?
I looked after and it seems there is another route, but no idea if there are high level mobs around that way either. It already takes ten min on rented choco to do this, and I have to run all the way back to Grid since it isn't my home town. So, I die...go back to Ul'Dah and waste anima porting back to Grid.
This is where it is tedious to the point of annoying. Even if I stopped and turned around on the way out there I would have to backtrack pretty far to go the alternate route. Stop cockblocking, you already have a time sink in the long travel time to get this done.

Yes the alternative route has lvl 15 monster. You picked the wrong route the first time, maybe next time they should add Auto-Walk in Quest Journal like the other MMOs?
Go from Gridania, the entrance there takes you right to where the crystals are, with no agro monsters. You can even use a rental choco to get there if you don't have a personal choco yet.
The Black Shroud entrance is much more friendly for that quest.
