With all the talk of measures being implemented to decentralize the population from Ul'Dah, and no talk of adjustments to anima, or addition of travel options, this player is very concerned about the current state of travel.

It's without any exaggeration that I say I've spent far more time in this game steering my character down the road, than I have in actual game play. Any player who partakes in a multitude of daily activities will tell you, anima runs out fast. Battle Leves, local leves, DoL, returning to town to dump inventory.... it all adds up quickly, and you either ration anima, and run, or run out of anima and run, but run you will, and run a lot.

This was an unacceptable situation at launch. No travel options is not good game design. Now with the need to hit all the cities to pick up our crafting leves and what sounds like battle marks as well, I hope SE has forseen the need to tweek anima once again, or has a surprise (cough chocobo/airships cough) ready at patch time.
I really don't think it's going to be received well, if this turns out to be another instance of the Dev team experiencing surprise at a situation that the players see coming a mile away.

I don't know how much time you guys have left till you release 1.18, but I sure hope you have taken this into serious consideration.

"Don't take it personally man, white knights would eat a can of sh*t if the label said SE on it. If anyone dared mention that it was not a good product, they'd just argue if someone can't appreciate the subtle nuances in the sh*t, they should just go back to eating lolrealfood, cuz the devs prolly know more about canning food than they do."

They've already stated that chocobos and airships are coming out (possibly next patch). Read the latest Letter From the Producer.

I think the ultimate solution should be this:

New Gil Sink, Pay for Anima.

Anima still regenerates like normal, but the players who play more regularly run out of anima in 2 days. We have more money though so alow us to buy anima. It will help control this ridiculous inflation while solving the anima dilemna
