Fix the HQ systemFollow

I'm getting really tired of the piss poor mechanics of this crafting system. I've spent the past few days attempting to make some HQ synths from basic mats. Out of roughly 200 synths from a variety of different crafts, I've found that it is IMPOSSIBLE to have any consistency on HQ's, and for the most part they are non existant for anything you can't touch up. For instance, I just finished 37 yellow copper ore synths, every single one with a quality of over 200, and roughly half of them with a quality over 400. I got a grand total of ZERO HQ's. I tried mainhand, I tried offhand. I tried ending the synth w/ a red orb, flashing orb, white orb, yellow, bold synth, standard synth, rapid synth. Absolutely NOTHING works.

I've tried about 6-7 other different synths just to see, and I've NEVER been able to achieve more than a 5-10% HQ rate, regardless of how many levels above the synth I am. Honestly, what is the point of crafting if everything is just completely random? There is so little skill involved in the system as it is, and when you make HQ's completely random and impossible to achieve on a regular basis, I begin to lose faith.

So please, FIX HQ SYNTHS! If my quality is over 100, I should see a decent increase in my HQ rate, and that should be exponentially greater the higher my quality gets. It's just common sense.

yeah, I agree - if you do 10 synths with over 100 quality - 1 of them should be at least +1.

At least some consistency would it would be nice.
I'll have a synth with 350+ quality and its a regular item, and an item with 60 quality +1.

I wouldn't expect there to ever be a guarantee, but I think you should pretty much be assured a +1, or a very good chance, with over 300 quality.

Try missing HQs regularly at 600+. Seems much harder on synths that you can't touch-up (CUL for example)

Had a friend with 6 sets of +3 mats for Jade Crook, max rank Woodworker got 4 NQs then nailed a +3 lol ... very random indeed.

I agree too. Chances for HQ should really increase noticeably with higher quality.

For materials, parts and crystals:

<100 Quality: 5% chance for HQ1, 1% chance for HQ2-4
>100 Quality: 20% chance for HQ1, 5% chance for HQ2, 1% chance for HQ3-4
>200 Quality: 40% chance for HQ1, 20% chance for HQ2, 5% chance for HQ3, 1% chance for HQ4
>300 Quality: 60% chance for HQ1, 40% chance for HQ2, 20% chance for HQ3, 5% chance for HQ4
>400 Quality: 80% chance for HQ1, 60% chance for HQ2, 40% chance for HQ3, 20% chance for HQ4
>500 Quality: 100% chance for HQ1, 80% chance for HQ2, 60% chance for HQ3, 40% chance for HQ4
...

For items:

<100 Quality: 5% chance for +1, no chance for +2/+3
>100 Quality: 15% chance for +1, 1% chance for +2, no chance for +3
>200 Quality: 30% chance for +1, 10% chance for +2, 1% chance for +3
>300 Quality: 45% chance for +1, 20% chance for +2, 10% chance for +3
>400 Quality: 60% chance for +1, 30% chance for +2, 20% chance for +3
>500 Quality: 75% chance for +1, 40% chance for +2, 30% chance for +3
...
Touch Up: reroll on your chance for HQ and increase chances by 2% with every try

or something like that...

I'd just like to know that when I spend more durability to get a higher quality I really have a higher chance to HQ something.

Maybe the development team could give us info what and how much difference the quality rating makes atm.
