No parties in game seems a bit frustrating for a mmorpg. Everyone does solo jobs because they can. You steal their SP in party, so no one party with you. Etc. Just there is no a reason to form a party.

I recommend the following to SE. I hope someone from dev. team will read this at least :

Improve party play, make it harder, force people to talk with friends and to form parties more later on. With that I mean at least 5/6people+ parties which will

1) make you new friends in game
2) learn you how to play more skilled in parties
3) unlock you more opportunities later on in game (you know more people)

Actually I think game misses this really hard. And people are shady one against another. From that is rising an ignorance in the game.

What I want to suggest to SE is :

Solo in mmorpg is fine, but when you are rank cap or high rank! Alright ! isnt for show. You should not be able to solo all way up to rank cap by my guess (at least not so so fast as in ffxiv). This is possible in this game, and people are doing this. I dont want to be offensive against solo-based ppl but - play single player games, ffs. I think mmorpg is also a co-operation, pardon me if I am against your nature. But it should be that way. I think after like rank 35+ you should be forced to find a friends and kill things together instead of solo again + if you count in no one in this game talks. I called like an idiot everyday for party if anyone wanna kill something with me since I was rank 18. But there is no need. Solo ftw.

I am pretty bored of it, I dont need to play a solo mmorpg. So this is my last feedback from me on this forum left to SE, I am quitting of lack party based activities. (and more reasons, I didnt even play much, I just wanted to add few more ideas. I guess its pointless at the end).

I hope this will change one day in Final Fantasy XIV for now. To meet new players is also a fun in mmorpg, you create more friends, and with that more opportunities later on in game. So I am going to another mmorpg which is party-based at least. Interaction alone is fun and content. FFXIV misses this so much I hope SE will one day open their eyes above this. But I was possimist since birth, they arent even reading these threads. So whatever for SE.

Dont take this thread offensive, this is my gaming experience, and my opinion on final fantasy mmorpg game. Party just doesnt work in this game, from that an ignorance amongst people is rising. Bye.

I have had a blast doing raptor parties with LS buddies. Everyone has to do their role too, unlike most mashing pt episodes people are used to/complain about.

When it comes to sitting around not doing anything for long periods of time, only being active for short windows, and marginal changes and sidegrades I'd say FFXI players were the perfect choice for politicians.

Um, have you played much since the last patch? If not, you should go give partying a try, as the results are pretty fantastic. They fixed the party SP bonus so that more members gives you MORE sp per mob, and personally I've found that if you are fighting the right mobs, you can make considerably more SP in a group than you can solo. I'd encourage you to go out and give it a shot before you give up, because it is not at all like what you are making it out to be anymore.

I disagree. Its still zerg the mob and watch it go down in seconds. Hell, we had a lancer tanking one time. yes, there is an element of control needed so the Raptor doesn't flame breath the mages but its still just a shadow of what it should be.

Its a step in the right direction but it isn't fixed yet.
