How about tuning the Accuracy? Even when you meet the perfect conditions (Proper rank for weapon, proper dex@current rank, accuracy gear etc) skills still seem to be floored on the baselevel.

I figure they expected us to pop food like maniacs like post Sushi FFXI (hell even presushi XI wasn't this horrid on the acc baseline) but from the last adjustment they did it seems that skills will have low accuracy no matter what you do.

...Or just introduce Sushi. Smiley: grin

You also need to account for the rank of the mob vs your rank as well, it is a factor for accuracy. And there is already food that improve accuracy.

yeah I say make sure you are wearing rings and eat some acc food. If you haven't even tried with acc food then you ought to before you complain.

From what I remember I wrote:

It doesn't fully solve the fact that accuracy is still wonky at times. While true you can never get to 100% accuracy, but even after they say they adjusted it (as well as to make dex make a bigger impact) the baseline is still pretty damn low.

So no one is complaining, it's just really clear that accuracy remains floored even when you meet the perfect conditions because of bad balancing. I'm not talking about taking up the whiffknight profession, I'm more talking about accuracy in itself just still seem to have a sense of randomness to it when it comes to skills.

would be good for your GLA rank and isn't super expensive to make. Will need a cul about R22 to make it though.

There's always the option of ranking Arc to r14 for Hawk's Eye, and Gla to r14 for Still Precision. It's not ideal, but every little bit counts. Although I do agree with OP, the acc baseline for some classes/skills seem ridiculously low at times.

I don't know how low is low, because I seem to hit 80%+ of the time on Sundrake outside Uldah, which is rank 60+ and I'm using a Lance which is famous for its low Accuracy trade off.

Marauders will be able to tell you how low is low. Accuracy for that class is definitely an issue.
