I find it distinctly un-fun to manage my inventory constantly to have enough room for the gear necessary to perform DoM, DoW, gathering and crafting. I would like to see a Wardrobe Interface implemented, which would remove the gear items from the general inventory. Here's how I envision it would work:
a) Keep the current Gear window, but give it 4 tabs/panes. (one for DoM/DoW/gathering/crafting as one idea).
b) Each tab/pane can hold a complete set of gear.
c) Items placed in slots are removed from general inventory and placed in the Gear UI inventory. If we can drag & drop from main inventory to Wardrobe tabs/panes then that would be even better.
d) Enable the UI to automatically change the current gear to whatever is in the cooresponding Wardrobe pane/tab whenever the mainhand is switched to the mainhand designated in the Wardrobe tab/pane.
e) Perhaps give players 2 tabs/panes to begin with. The others could be unlocked via quests, purchased via gil, or purchased via subscription add-ons.
f) Enable gear self-repair and seeking-repair directly via the Wardrobe Interface, without needing to unequip the items and without taking up bazaar slots.
