Pretty much, you get mail with a bunch of free stuff (starting & lvl50 gear, fist-bump emote, teleport coupons, etc.) and our accounts aren't linked (so no worries there). For now, since you're still in the trial, just enjoy the game! (you can't sign up until you start your free month)
When the time comes, if you do want to, you can put this code in your Mog Station account under "Friend Code": [PDK2EB7H]. That should do it. Shoot me any questions if you have any! (been playing since beta)"
