My god the music in this game is fantastic.

Some people say that SE jumps the shark. But the truth is. When SE jumps the shark. They just get a bigger shark to jump. And when the Shark is Building Sized, then they pull out Voltron/Megazord/etc. And jump that.

The Calcabrina? Yeah those things are pretty creepy... but they were creepy in FF4 too so...

Trailers like these... honestly it makes sense to me why I'm so disappointed and reminds me why I want to enjoy this game far more than I do.
Though I don't care for fashion or hair, I will say that I can get over lower resolution textures and poor lighting. Despite the two issues I just mentioned this team still manages to do a great job with what they've been dealt. I just wish that would have also translated into the gameplay. Still, I'll probably dust off the re-subscribe button again. Still, I will probably also cancel immediately and never question why I decided not to continue.

Don't know how the fights themselves will turn out, but they definitely LOOKED great in the trailer. The music sounded nice too. Then again anything sounds like an upgrade after that **** they used in the Alexander fights. The Heavensward OST on the whole was pretty bland.

These trailers always do a great job of getting you interested. Not falling for it this time though, going to wait until the end of the year and re-sub for a month. By that point, you'll have tons of story, dungeons and things to do.

3.2 will play out like this:
"Hey, Warrior of the Light, go do my fetch quests because the powers above, namely Yoshida, feel we're not using certain areas enough."

Yeah there's one I need you to do unrelated to anything lore wise, but it somehow all of a sudden drops an item I/we need need, nevermind that the FATE has existed for almost a year and wasn't important before, but because it's low spawn rate, perfect for halting story progress."
