Looking to get into the gameFollow

#1 Feb 05 2016 at 5:04 PM Rating: Default
Hi all. I am looking to get into the game. I have a homestuck friend who plays alone and she is wanting me to play with her. Due to medical issues she cant really leave the house and she doesnt know anyone. I cant afford the game and am looking to get the game as well as heavensward as she plays at the max level content. Is there anyway for me to get this game besides the free trial or anyone with a spare base/heavensward key that they would be willing to part with? I know its a long shot but I figured there was no harm in asking. Thank you all for taking the time to read :)

Even if someone were to get you a copy of the game, you'd still have to pay the monthly fee to play it. If she wants you to play with her you might ask her to get your copy of the game. If that's out of the question then maybe consider playing together in one of the many MMOs that are free to play.

Its personal preference and all, but yes we need to educate WoW players that this is OUR game, these are Characters and not Toons. Time to beat that into them one at a time.

Scammer.

Besides, my grandma threatens to commit suicide if I, like, don't play the game with her and... and... so does her cat. Who happens to be paraplegic. With asthma.

definitely not a scammer. im just someone whop really wants to play with their friend and was hoping someone would be kind enough to help someone out as i would do the same if i had the money and someone else was in my position but thank you for taking the time to call me a scammer. If anyone has a problem or feels like this is a scam i will gladly take this down . Im sorry i wasted your time

Since you're a new forum poster here, you won't understand the impact of what I'm about to say.

I agree with Filth.

FFXIV is one of the few subscription games on the market. Even if you get that free month, you'll still have to pay when it's over.

You should talk your friend into giving Guild Wars 2 a shot. The base game is now free to play, and it's quite fun and gorgeous (at least up until endgame, which used to suck but I've heard has gotten better).

If you play GW2 though, be sure to choose classes that start in the same city or you'll never see each other.

Blade and Soul is also quite good if your friend might like something a little more actiony. Also free.

I would recommend Star Wars the Old Republic for a more traditional MMO experience, and the story is fantastic, but you pretty much have to pay for the subscription despite the game being technically free to play.

It will take a very..very long time to meet up, especially if you both decide to do your story.
