Maybe I missed it... so glad they finally added Party TPFollow

I didn't see a thread about this being added, but for me it's a major game changer in the way I play Bard and Ninja. I'm no longer guessing when I need to play a TP song or waiting until someone asks for TP. I can plan ahead and choose the perfect moment to fire off the song.

If you can't tell, I'm very happy they finally added this. Now if only they would make Frontlines queue pull from across all the servers combined instead of the data center groupings, 4 times now I've queued for over 300 minutes for some "easy" E-Tomes with no success. Not that it's a big deal since I'm leveling crafting or gathering while I have the queue going, but if I didn't have anything else to do I'd be a sad panda.

The only problem with it is that it could become the new e-peen: which DPS can burn their TP the fastest, thus proving (in their own mind) that they are better than everyone else.

The catch, of course, is that fast TP burn is not necessarily the most damage (hi, Arm of the Destroyer!).

That's completely ridiculous.

That sounds like a dps trying to compete for standing in the fire the longest. Honestly, if you've got someone like that who thinks they're hot stuff because they vomited their TP all over something faster than their invigorate cooldown, that person needs to go.

Not ridiculous at all when it comes to the XIV community lol.

On another note: Despite having the TP bar, MCH/BRD/NIN still don't seem to know how to use their TP restoring abilities without being spammed to ask for it.

Yes, it does, and yes, it's ridiculous.

But can you honestly say you've never seen a DPS doing that? Those DPS who don't hide fast enough behind the meteors, who don't get into the shielded zone until the last minute, you've never done LotA with those people?

I do, I also look when I'm on AST and can't make the Spire go away. It's going to be a matter of time for some people to figure out that this is a thing they need to do, and some people will never figure it out and should not be playing a job with any kind of support role in the first place because they're bad at it.

Sure I have, but I don't think any of them considered their grisly death a point of pride.

On the other hand...
