Dumbest thing Ive heard..Follow

I think part of the problem is all the voice acted scene are always serious. There isn't many scenes to show a full range of emotion. All the scenes that are voiced really require stoic seriousness, with precious few exception usually in the character personality.(Like Tataru)

I personally think they Nailed Lady ice-heart and Merlwyb(sp), also Alphinuad and Y'stohla put in solid work. The rest are ok but again all seriousness. I think if characters were showing more emotion Lyrailis would be spot on.(I can't say how the Japanese voice actors sound.)

I'm fine with all the Japanese voices, but sometimes male Lalas get these unusual booming bass voices that sound kind of odd coming from something so small.

Then there is Ser Aymeric's Japanese voice. Holy moly. It's like wrapping yourself in a black silk sheet. English Aymeric is just another FF pretty boy, but Japanese Aymeric is walking hotness incarnate.

Lolorito and Pipin really threw me off the first time I heard them speak.

Vanille sounded like she had 5 different accents. It was grating. Then again that whole game annoys me so I'm a bit biased.

I actually liked Tidus' voice. Fit his character imo.

Didn't really bother me since they wanted to basically make clear "Lalafells aren't tarus" so eh. The mustaches some have bothers me far more than the voices.

Agreed on Tidus. He sounded like a dumb jock because he WAS a dumb jock. Brand new star player, first year on the team, screaming adoring fangirls who would sleep with him at the drop of a hat... yeah, his annoying English voice was pretty dead on.

The infamous laugh sounds awful and forced and terrible because he was doing it ironically. I don't think a lot of people got that. He was deliberately trying to sound as horribly bad as possible so that it'd be "so bad its funny" to force Yuna into genuine laughter. It worked.

As for the unexpected censor marks, they make whatever you wrote sound a lot angrier.

He had his clueless/hyper side but the VA also did a good job delivering the more somber and introspective lines. Especially the inner monologues.

Tidus gets too much hate :\

It's not that it's brittish voices. I like brittish people and their accents. It's that it doesnt fit the characters even slightly. And really, they feel like they're just reading it up. I've heard more spirited dialogue in an Uwe Boll movie...

Thanks ;)

Strange thing is, there are several type of British accents. And people refer British sometimes mean English because Britain is actually more than one Country.
Scottish
Irish
Welsh

And those languages come with their own accents, this doesn't even include the accents starting from the North England to the South of England.

AS for me, I am English and from South East - I tend to have the general British accent but without the stiff up a lip as it's called (Queens English). Annoyingly enough for me though when people say they love my accent, I have not got a clue what they mean because it sounds generic/boring in my ears.
