and very glad I waited until most of it was easier to get. I finished my books before the patch before the expansion. Did my light farming just before expansion. Regret the cash I blew on materia before the expansion. Finished zeta during the expansion. I'm 56 now and
surprised it's still pretty viable, unless I'm missing something. Tearing up as I get ready to kiss it goodbye.

oh and also tearing up as I say goodbye to my original class, Marauder. With the new DD stance I got on Warrior, I can't even be a novelty DD as Marauder anymore. Any Bards miss just being an Archer? Pugilist? Lancer? ect
Mine got me to 56-57. Still worth it in the end for glamour because I hate the look of the level 60 weapons.
I kept my bow till end of 57 I believe, I too regretted not waiting till it was easier to get and cheaper to buy material but that's life.
When I farmed Atma's I literally just finished because there was talk of it being made "easier" and then the update came.. still I felt like I achieved something like a lot in this game. I don't have a static so finishing anything through DF is always an achievement ;)
Still the 57 Bow available was if I remember rightly slightly better on Dex but not on stats. Once I hit 58 I had to glamour with the orphodox set.

Note that SE deliberately removed accuracy from the iLvl 51+ weapons, so if you have an accuracy build relic it'll last you until you approach 60 for sure.
