Since not everyone is cool enough for sipping rum at mountain resorts, I'd like to know... how is everyone other than Catwho planning on keeping busy while waiting for HW?
For me...
I'm going to mow the lawn and take care of the weeds tonight (one less thing to do this weekend). Then I'll play some Dragon Age, and maybe some Destiny if the wife isn't watching TV. I'll also be watching the forums like a hawk. Right now, I'll take any XIV fix I can get.
I've been pretty busy lately, and I haven't had much time to get excited about the expansion... but now, my excitement level is rising quickly, and tomorrow can't come soon enough!

We may have storms tonight, so I'm not 100% certain what I will be doing. If it storms, I'll clean the apartment, do some reading, and go to bed early so I can be up at an early hour. I will then go grab some breakfast at the local Wendy's for some energy, and then wait for the servers to come online. I'll probably do some more reading (manga, most likely, on my iPad) while waiting.
If it doesn't storm, or if it doesn't storm for long, I'll do all the same except I'll play Guild Wars 2 (most likely) instead of cleaning.
Through it all, I'll be just like Thayos...I'll be watching the forums like a hawk as my excitement gets higher and higher! :D

If you have the pre order code you won't need the physical copy to play early access.

Since Heavensward's release is lining up with the Steam Summer Sale nicely, I'll be spending tonight trying out some of the games I bought this week. I'm a latecomer to the whole Steam sale thing, so I was able to pick up some "classics" for super cheap that I'm sure everybody else has already played.

I don't know really. I was out with my wife and kid most of the day. Considering pulling an all nighter so I can play when the servers open, but 2am around the time I usually get in bed, so I'd need some coffee. Could be fun though. I haven't done that in years.
Working the night shift. I'll get off work at 7am and get home to see how full the Balmung server will be. Hopefully it won't be too bad.
A few of us were throwing around ideas for the new FC message. I came up with "Ermahgerd Heavenswerd"

The server goes up at 1 AM my time (AK), so I'll be asleep. But Friday evening and pretty much all day Saturday will be spent....well, you know.
