Great interview with lots of HW information, with a seemingly decent translation by a user on the OFs.

http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/threads/235694-Nantes-Gamewatch-interview-summary

Highlights:
- Leveling from 50-60 will take as long as 1-50
- Jobs learn a new skill every two levels
- Hard-mode Alexander raids will factor in healer DPS
- There will be more complex FATEs, similar to the FATE chain in South Shroud
- The starting base-level endgame gear will be i170 (I think???)
- Gear from HM Alexander will be stronger than story-mode Alexander gear (I like this, because hardcore raiders need that mountain to stand on)
- Casual dungeons will remain easy, but will include some mechanics from coil

Lots of other stuff there... those are just things that jumped out at me.

Most important thing I read so far.

"-Alphinaud changed his clothes because it is very cold in the north of Eorzea."

The struggle is real. The blonde figured out to put on a jacket why cant you.

The most interesting part of that interview was when they mention that they are planning a new kind of content where people will be able to feel lost. The rest is just more of the same which I personally already know I don't enjoy, but this actually sounds interesting even for someone like me. I hope it is linked to the "go as deep as you can into the dungeon and you can't save" that Yoshi has talked about before, like a real type of dungeon crawl would be awesome.

That's too hard for the casual playerbase. He's talking about mechanics like Turn 1 light floors or Turn 6 add control. Nothing that takes coordination or else the casuals would be doing coil ;p

(Since he said himself he did it to try to get people interested in coil that weren't doing coil.)

Then again, Yoshida says a lot of things.
