I just would like to know how the system is for duty finder since its been ages since I last time played it.

whats the average waiting time for dps?

whats the average waiting time for healers?

Can you grind exp in dungeons now?

Can you do end game content via duty finder?

Whats the max content gear item can you get via duty finder?

It depends on the fight.

DPS queue for trials of all stripes tends to be quite reasonable (5-10 minutes) due to the sheer number of people grinding out weapons on tank and healer jobs. I've gotten instant queues before.

Tank and healer queues are great for dungeons. DPS queues for dungeons are still 20-30 minutes long, even in roulettes. You can grind exp in dungeons, but after level 40 on a DPS job, the FATES in North Thanalan tend to be better.

Coil Turns 1-5 can be done with DF, as can all hard mode primals and some Ex primals. Duty finder is not recommended for Coil Turns 6-13.

1. Depends on content and Data center cluster. Usually between 10 minutes - 80+m
2. Depends on same reasons, usually instant - 20m+
3. You can but it's less efficient given wait times if you're DPS..FATEs are still better overall.
4. You can but it's not recommended if you expect clear on the harder stuff. Stuff like Second and Final Coil (actual end game content) it touchy and usually fails but on primals and the like, its hit or miss.
5. Max gear item is ilvl 135 from Final Coil. Max "casual" gear is 120 from World of Darkness.

T6-7 is pretty easy with DF. I think T8 could be doable in DF, but people rage quit too quickly.

From experience, a strange phenomenon happens from T10-T13. Assuming you can get in a group, DF for T10-T13 are actually just as good as most party finder groups (downside being you can't change jobs to fill a need and may get odd combinations like all ranged on T10 or all meele or all magic on T11). You need two tanks for all of those. T9 is a giant hurdle for most of the population, and you can bet that most who have cleared that (without being carried) know how to watch a video before jumping into a fight, and/or pick up things really fast. I beat T10 in a DF just the other day.
