I know there are plenty of posts like this on the forum, but I would like you all to hep me out here for this one!
So, I recently bought this laptop with the above specs, but somehow I am having trouble playing it on maximum setting or even high settings. Anyone have any suggestions that I could possibly do to be able to enjoy the nice graphic of this game. Thank you in advance!

How about using GeForce Experience application to choose the graphics settings appropriate to the machine? It's really pretty darned good at managing game settings in my experience.

If you don't have GeForce Experience installed by default, you can download it from the geforce.com site.

That's very similar to my laptop (mine is last year's model, the G60.) I've gotten the best experience setting the game to "High Laptop" or somesuch.

Also, make sure that it's using your video card and not trying to use Intel's onboard graphics. As Verdha said, make sure GeForce Experience is installed - as well as the necessary Nvidia drivers. If it's brand new out of the box, it may not have those pre-installed.

yeah, sounds like you aren't forcing the game to start with the NVidia card. Make sure the FF executable is set to NVidia as the default gpu.

You might even go so far as to disable the on-board video driver in Device Manager. I've had to do that on laptops with discrete video cards where Windows just wasn't cooperating.
