Guys keep in mind 1.0 ended in an almost utter defeat. 2.0 ended with everyone together and happy with the cliffhanger of bahamut screaming and everyone looking around. This ending was another "defeat" of sorts for 2.55 (almost has an umbral astral feel to it doesnt it? Smiley: clown). Yes there are cliffhangers for every ending and may be a bit cliche but I found it thoroughly enjoyable and the lighting and scenes at the end looked very good to me. More so than normal.

So many stories have been told and so many outcomes have been seen in story-telling that of course at some point things don't surprise you anymore. So I wouldn't place all the blame on S.E for some of you folks not being please/impressed. after having series like Spartacus, game of thrones, House of Cards, sons of anarchy, attack on titan etc etc.. I can say there is hardly any story that is particularly surprising to me.. Doesn't mean I don't still enjoy them. I don't have to be surprised to enjoy a scene. But that's just my take on the issue. It's all subjective in the end anyways. Anywho.. I loved the ending. Regardless of it being cliche predictable and whatever else have you.

For me a difference between 1.0, 2.0 and 2.55 is that there is only signs of matters getting worse in 2.55. In 1.0 and 2.0 things could go either way (and for a big part, the developments were positive in nature). This time we get Midgardsormr's ominous speech of only death and destruction awaiting us inside the gates.

I have used the df and with about 3/4 attempts no clear. It seems like no one wants to do it. The queue in the df is over 30 mins. I have looked in the PF no groups.

It's popular to get in trial roulette so it's not that no one does it..it's just..when you get into it, most of your (dps) usually are so clueless or tunnelvisioned they make it agony. It's to the point I'm surprised they're not blaming lag for not knowing how to use a damn canon.
