FFXIV 14 day versionFollow

Hello everyone, I'm curious about the 14 day free trail for FFXIV.

I played FFXIV 6 months ago.

I have a new PC and want to download and see if the game will run smooth.

Instead of resubbing and downloading I wanted to try the free version for 14 days.

If I do this, and make a "new" account for the free trial and download the software.

If I want to go back and use my old account after this 14 days is up, will I need to uninstall this software and redownload the client after I resub to my old account?

or

Will I just resub to my old account and use that password/account name? another words is the client I download the same?

Thanks for the reply, Yeah you can't... I just wanted to run the game on my new PC before resubbing to my account.

It runs great. I guess what I'll do is find out once I resub to the game with my main account and try to log in with the client in downloaded for the free account.

Yup, it's to celebrate hitting 4 million registered accounts, and also to entice people on hiatus back.

I think they're the same, and the limitations are on the account, and not the client.
