1. I need to finish my damn WAR book!
2. I am going to CLEAR TITAN EX GORRAMIT or at least seriously try again T_T
3. BRD 48 to 50, three more daily roulettes should do it

Tomorrow I will be doing some goldsmithing maintenance, that is mining for ALL THE PRECIOUS METALS.

T8 isn't too bad. if you can do 7, 8 should be a relief. 9 is satan. well, at least it used to be, I haven't run it in a while. I find the hardest part the last phase since grasping wtf is going on can be difficult. golems I think is the universal "hardest part", but really if you know and have a clear understanding of how rocks work, you're good.

feel i'm really lagging behind. I used to have a full set of the latest gear every single time the ilevel got raised, but i didnt cap my poetics even once since it got implemented, and i didnt get to buy my first piece of gear till just earlier today.... It's beyond frustrating. But at the same time, i just dont feel like it anymore when all my work is just going to be made irrelevant on the next update anyhow... Completely unmotivated.

But i'm steering away from what i wanted to say, new goal, CAP POETICS.

Which is kinda a hard goal for me to achieve these days it seems :/

I have not capped either since Poetics.. I got too tired of the gear upgrades and I am just taking them as they come now.. I just finish my last set and dint get a chance to enjoy it and there is a new set. So I just said ***** it.. I get burned out trying to cap every week and running the same dungeons over and over. This is the biggest thing I dont like about the game.. I felt I was getting on the game just to do this every night and it gets boring.

You dont need the latest and greatest to do the new content anyway.. Skill is still more important and a good internet connection..

Didn't get the post in on time, but I'll list accomplishments nonetheless.

1. On my 18th win of T9, I finally got my High Allagan Bow. Immediately sidelined the old Rosenbogen. My T9/T10 DPS went from 260-300 and is now at 350-400. It makes that much of a difference. Now at 19 total wins. Got monk claws too, but I don't even know how to monk Smiley: disappointed

2. At 1370 / 2000 light towards paladin nexus. Making slow but steady 18.79 / day light progress. At this pace I am set to have nexus by January 3.

3. I now have a comfortable understanding of barding T10. Now waiting on us to get a decent sch who knows how to mitigate prey, and waiting for my team to effectively understand that heat lightning has a pretty big aoe effect.

4. Saving poetics for some purpose. I really cant improve my bard dps much further, and I am past the accuracy cap for T10 and T11, so I'm going to save them for the next crystal tower update where the encrypted tomestone will likely drop for the masses and I can get my photon bow. And any tomes over 1300 will go to paladin or blm I guess.

5. Figured out that the outdoor furniture that is made from the crystal tower dimensional fragment blade will allow you to effectively jump to the second floor balcony of our mansion. Not willing to spend 1 million to make it happen. Bard stuff drained me.

Only managed to get the 49 NIN so far this week although I am due to go with my FC tonight for a few SCOB rruns, don't know if we'll be getting as far as T8 as we may be taking new players though also. I had one learning party for T9, got to around 70% (I know!) and didn't even see the golems but we seemed to finally get the first bit down properly. Unfortunately I couldn't stay as long as everyone so I didn't get as much practice as I could.
Hit 1600+ on lights too this weekend although I have not even really tried to farm lights its ticking along nicely. My short term goal here is to get the Nexus before the next patch in December - want to be ready for the next relic quest.

Turns out I can totally watch something on Crunchy roll in one monitor and mine in the other monitor. Restocked on ingots, time to make some bank.

I managed to cap poetics. Now comes the hard decision of what to save up for... I did legs and one ring on BLM first.

There's a 120 poetics weapon, right? Which you can't get to 130 without doing Coil 3 but I'm okay with that. I think that might need to be my next goal.

Turn 11 drops the encrypted tomestone you need to make the 120 weapon (you also need 10 rowena tokens worth 130 poetic each)

Turn 12 drops the carbontwine item you need to augment the 120 weapon to 130.

And at the rate my group is progressing on final coil t10, I'm probably going to see the tomestone to make the bow faster if I wait for the final crystal tower. The good news is that for all I've read, if you farm T9 for your weapon, you can use that all the way through T13, which is a good thing.

Ah okay, so my weapon will be staying 110 for a while then. Considering my BLM is already 112, I'll be okay with that.

New mini-goal this week is to get PLD to 30, since I've got my daily roulettes freed up from BRD. Seriously, you can get a new job from 20-50 in about a month just from daily roulettes and your hunting log.

I got my NIN to 48 and will definitely make 50 by the end of the year. Also I made some long overdue progress on fishing (now level 42).

What's notable (for me) is that I managed to finish over 20 of the entries in the Challenge Log! I have rarely hit 15, but this last week was my first time getting 20.

I tried Thornmarch EX a few times. I am much more comfortable in handling the healing part. Now, I just need to find 7 others that can handle their part...

I have tentatively pegged Weaver as my next craft to 50, mostly so I can make Twinthread that will lead to other, better crafting gear.

I've been exceeding my goals so easily recently I'm not sure it's worth setting new ones, just keep ripping stuff out. SMN is 50 now, so it's time to start on the SCH quests; MNK is i109 and rising, and even WHM is i102 now. That's mostly thanks to spamming ST, which I just unlocked this week, and am actually enjoying a lot. And I've been sweeping along with the main storyline too. So I guess I kind of do have some goals:

MNK to i110 (should just take one more Sand)
Keep pushing the storyline to unlock Snowcloak
SCH quests from 35 to 50
Weathered weapons for the new 50's: BLM, SMN, and SCH
Steady iLvl increases for all 50 DoW and DoM jobs I have

Along with those, although less achievable, is relic progress for MNK and WHM. MNK needs Alex (which totally failed to drop from an Unhidden I picked up from a Boarskin chest), which until I can get Expert Roulette unlocked with Snowcloak is going to have to come from Hunt Seals. WHM needs Atma drops, which since I haven't seen a single one drop in about 30 FATEs since the drop rate change I'm not optimistic about. And I want to start on another craft too, not sure which yet.

But here's a question: I should presumably re-attribute point ACN with MND for SCH instead of the INT I've used for SMN. Does anyone actually seriously play both SCH and SMN, and what do you do with the attribute points? Now it would be practical to carry that magic potion from 250 GC seals and switch every time -- one good FATE covers a swap -- but what are you guys doing now?

I'd like to get my DRG to 50 this week
Upgrade my healer gear some
Farm more Shiva Ex as that fight is fun
Get Ultros minion.

Only thing in my way is my stupid ISP seems to be throttling me during my prime play time, a couple hours before and after it's fine.

My goal is to complete my current book on my Atma Spear. I would like to start working on Novus before the end of the year. 4 books left, 4 weeks of the year. Let's see if I can get that done.

Meanwhile FC wise I've got Moogle Mog Ex to go through and then work tonight on clearing Turn 6.

Also hoping to get my Pron Poetry Body before next reset.

I think Ghost Story plays both. You can ask him how he did it.

I vastly prefer SCH to SMN. SMN just isn't satisfying; even though I know my pet and my DOTs are putting out as much damage as any other DPS classes, I miss the big numbers I get from BLM. SCH on the other hand gives me the Happy Fluffy Support Job feeling that I got from healer RDM, SCH, and BRD in FFXI.

Weathered weapon for SCH only, but I'm happy with that. Did a Low Level Roulette to try it out and breezed through Titan story mode -- it's kind of weird to still be healing when encased in rock.

Still not comfortable with soloing stuff on SCH, not really ready for maps yet despite i103. I have no real idea what to do about crowd control -- I'm so used to Holy.

One book down, three remaining.

Mooglemog Cleared, Turn 6 Cleared.

Had some trouble with Ifrit Extreme of all things, but we got one of our members their first three Primal Extremes done!

Also, in a strange twist, I got a small house! Xmas present from my GF. But now I got a small Cottage in Lavender Beds to design how I want.

Which means I am never going to have any recognizable amount of gil ever again. *laugh* Good week!
