The best thing about flying is that it forces the devs to get rid of all the invisible walls and fully develop the landscape. I hope swimming makes it in too so we can fully explore the world.

Except that as of right now, it's the new expansion areas only... unless that's a translation error
*EDIT* As to swimming, weren't there supposed to be FC or GC ships (not airships, or airships in the water) for water based travel? I forget and my brain plays tricks on me sometimes :p

Bet we will be getting a flying dragon mount for beating the expasion, as a reward. Also, wonder if they will make any of the already in-game mouns "flyable" in the expansion areas. Like the whm unicorn... doesn't that have wings on its sides?
It does not.
If any of the existing mounts were to be made flyable, the Ahriman makes the most sense.

Flying mounts sounds cool but not chocos.. they were not meant too fly...
A dragon would be cool especially since it seems like the new expansion is about dragons...

Will say this though, first time I have been excited for an expansion pack.
Hopefully SE won't give us a half done expansion like they had with XI. 2.4 gave us a lot of content, things to do and stuff to get so I expect a lot for something I will be paying extra for. One of my biggest issues with XI was the way they gave us a bit of content in the expansions and having to wait 24 hours till proceeding with story.
Still I have been very impressed with the content since 2.0 was released.
Hopefully SE won't give us a half done expansion like they had with XI. 2.4 gave us a lot of content, things to do and stuff to get so I expect a lot for something I will be paying extra for.
