Frustraition for a returning playerFollow

Hi All,

Sorry about this but if I did not post this somewhere I would never come back to the game.

I played the game back in the original form (collector's edition early access), I came back to the game (http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodestone/character/5539844/) for a bit until my friends quit on me. I can go to my email and find the account registration and automatic payment cancellation emails to prove I played the game ...

But that is where things end. I do not know if this has anything to do with it but I uninstalled the game, but the mog station has no record of that service account, and in fact has no payment history at all. It is forcing me to re-purchase the game if I want to come back and play. I find this completely unacceptable, how can you not have records of my service account?

Can anyone help me? Or has anyone experienced anything similar while returning after not playing? I stopped playing back in January.

That sounds really strange. I'm not suggesting you've done anything wrong, but just for understanding; they don't even delete accounts that are banned for any sort of reason. The accounts are still there, they're just frozen. Regardless of any action taken on your account, it is never supposed to be removed from record as per their legal responsibilities.

Anyway, are you sure you're entering the information correctly? The only suggestion I have at this point is to contact SE customer support(sorry in advance). They should be able to locate your account as long as you can provide them the name registered to the account, email address, billing address, registration code and possibly a few more things like last 4 of any CC you used to pay for it.

At worst, something happened on your end and as far as they're concerned you never existed. At slightly less than worst, they'll send you a form that you have to get notarized and investigate. Could take up to 2 months to resolve. I'll keep my fingers crossed that your issue is something simple. SE was never really known for great customer service, but hopefully you'll get it sorted..
