When you have fun... 14 days went too fast, i was having a very good time with the game, but all good things must come to an end... as i said before, i don't have a credit/debit card, so i`m much SOL at the moment, i still have 90 days to find a way to pay for the game before my character gets deleted for good i think (if that happens i`m going to be more sad)... ok on to the review...

The Good:

1- Graphics: Game looks beautiful, so much detail everywhere i love it.
2- Character customization: What can i say, no more clone wars, and the models are great.
3- Jobs: Ability to change job on the fly? heck yeah, no more "hey yo spinning mog, change me to BLM, nao", i wanted to experience all the jobs, if only for a bit because of the limited playing time, but i ran out of invo space lol. I missed a couple i think.
4- Quests: So much to do, so little time...
5- Leves: See #4
6- Fates: Mini events that everyone can participate, if you are over level you can synch so you can participate? Too much win here.
7- Combat: I liked the combat system, have to time your actions and have to pay attention to what you are doing, also, if something goes wrong and you have to flee, mobs don't follow you to the end of the world... and the gate guards actually help...

The Bad:

Hmmm... can't really think of anything that were bad... too much WoWish? nah, it's not that bad... only thing i can think is that in the 14 days i played i didn't talked to anyone, nothing ._. (in trial i was limited to /say only, a few times i asked for a bit of help but got no answer).

The Ugly:

In these 14 days i got a total of 26 tells (i counted them :p)... yay! ... NOT! ... all them tells were from RMT =/

Well, all in all game is good, very good, i really want to keep playing a bit more, i enjoyed it a lot, but until i find out a way to pay... gonna have to wait.

My country sells game time cards in electronics stores (Finland). Are you sure they are not available in your country?

Isn't it possible to purchase crysta through click and buy with a pre-paid credit card? That might be an option you can look into. Even if you can't purchase the crysta you can use the CC to buy something else you wanted.

Not sure you spent enough time playing to form a solid opinion of the game though. You never really left the tracks.

The graphics and character creation are great, I agree. As for the rest; you're limited in what you can do the further you go into the game.

Quests are a mirage. When you're low level you will gain experience quickly and the progression feels great, but those quests start to dry up. If you tried to level half the jobs in your signature to 30 you'd find that you wouldn't finish half of them before you found yourself limited to running FATEs, dungeons and leves for experience. There aren't enough quests to bridge the gap and fill in between grinding FATEs, dungeons and leves so it starts to get stale pretty quickly. You didn't quite get far enough to experience it and it might not have been a deal breaker, but it's a definite factor.

Of course i didn't get far enough... i only played for 14 days, and in those days i played like 3-6 hours. I don't know much about the game, it was just a first impression.

I don't trust click and buy, but i´m going to check if there are pre-paid cards here (i´m from México).

He's just saying that you'll run out of content at some point. I hope you're not too shocked by this grand revelation.

There are FFXIV branded specific game cards and I'd be very surprised if GameStop didn't sell those. There is also the aforementioned Click and Steal for EU, but I'd avoid them if at all possible *shudder*

I can't begin to stress this enough. NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER .....................................NEVER do ANY business with Click and Buy EVER for ANY reason. If Click and Buy were the only way you could ransom your own mother from Al Qaeda, still don't do any business with Click and Buy. They are the single worst **** in the 7 kingdoms of Westeros. They operate out of Europe, so your bank will kick back any payment you try to make to them, and the only way to make that payment is to get verified, which means sending them a copy of a recent bank statement, and a photocopy of your driver's license. Failing that you can send them a money order, which costs 30 dollars itself on top of whatever the cost is of the service you're trying to purchase. Their customer service is operated by people with Indian accents on cell phones in a basement in London, so you can't understand a lick of what they're saying. Click and Buy is TERRIBLE. **** Click and Buy.

Did I mention I dislike Click and Buy?

Edit: This is my past nightmare with Click and Buy, along with other people adding in their horror stories. http://ffxiv.zam.com/forum.html?forum=10&mid=1364638028186031813#

I don't think the XIV game time cards(the 60 day ones) were ever made available to NA. JP/EU only last I checked. I can't really advocate for Click and Buy, but it's the only other option for the time being(unless ultimate game cards are still available). Not sure what the options are specific to Mexico.

The 60 Day Cards are available in the United States at both Gamestop and 7-11. My wife uses those to keep her own subscription going.
