In spite its shortcomings FFXIV keeps getting cited among the reasons why Square Enix is doing better. Here's an interesting snippet:

With Chinese version still not released, do you think SE will be able to raise its expectations again before the year closes out or do you think the criticism over changes to the game and the pricing of their mobile market begin to weigh on their bottom line?
