Weekend Goals and Accomplishments 6/27 - 6/29 Follow

Less than two weeks until the fabled 2.3, where we all hunt giant things for loots. But alas, for two more weekends, we are stuck with the humdrum. What are your plans?

Mine:

1. Just got monk to 45 last night, so I need to do some AF quests so I can dress like a banana.
2. Try to get monk at least to 47, but higher is ok too.
3. FInish capping soldiery (should get that by tonight).
4. Get the last 200 myth tomes and buy my 7th book. Try my best to get 50% in said book.
5. Keep watering the plants so I can try out my new gardening strategy for obtaining a self sustaining glazenut crop. (Assuming I can gather sun lemons and thanalan soil III).

That should keep me busy enough. I really need to get to tending the front yard this weekend.

Pretty unambitious ones for me this weekend:

• Keep levelling GSM
• Knock out one or two Hard Mode primals to get closer to WHM relic
• Level SMN and BLM a little more

I've had Atma drop while my weapon was glamoured, so there's no worries there. Still, I did take mine off as well, mainly cause I prefer the way the Relic looks, actually.

I do too except the glow annoys me, so I've been glamouring my relics.

I also glamoured my DRG one right away because I think the relic looks like a toy weapon.



My goals for the weekend is to start leveling BLM. I plan to get it to 50 before 2.3.

This isn't a crafting mmo? !@#$

My weekend was reached this morning.

Botany lvl 50.

That's all the Disciples of the Land to 50 for me. Good feeling and sporting the new title with pride.

I lost a chunk of Sunday to an unexpected tick bite (ew) and a subsequent visit to Urgent Care. I'm now under a 30 day watch for Rocky Mountain spotted fever.

Also, Duty Finder burped on me twice after a 45 minute CT queue. Not happy about that.

Another couple of hours in Outer La Noscea. Nothing.

Then I turned off FFXIV and went to find something fun to do. Settled on fishing, caught some bass.

It's like I'm the cat on the FFIV couch, and Atma farming is the bottle of water that sprays at me to GET OFF THE COUCH.

I didn't list my goals, but here are my weekend accomplishments:

1. I managed to (finally) beat Garuda EX. We ended up getting 25% echo and taking over 45 minutes, but I am going to say that a win's a win. I did it on WHM, despite my WAR, PLD, and MNK being better equipped (ilvl-wise).

2. I got SCH/SMN to 50 and finished collecting the AF bodies. Pretty much all of the AF went into my armoire for space, but it's nice to have.

3. Started working on Archer (now 24). It's my last DoW/M to get to 50. I figure I'll be spending more time gathering and crafting, but I feel I should use my daily roulettes on something other than more tomestones.

Oh also got my first retainer to lvl 50 miner.

Ifrit Hard Mode is actually pretty easy. I farm all three via the Trials Roulette these days, and Ifrit is definitely the least awful of the three. Garuda is usually okay.... I kind of dread getting Titan HM, though. (Everyone does.)
