Blow all that gil on Materia and start on my CRP melds.
Level BTN from 41-45 and hook my ALC buddy up with a pile of Mugwort.

I wasn't in our groups Wednesday Run to know what all happened, but they diddn't manage to clear Twin that night. Probably due to too many new to the fight.

Thrusday, however, we got two more members through their first Twin victories in separate runs. Healer Legs, Tank Helm, SMN Book and BLM wand dropped. We're not quite far enough to be calling Twin 'on farm' yet, but the goal is to have it that far by next week.

We passed a new policy for Raiders requiring a secondary class leveled and geared - so we'll be adapting gearing runs into our rotations to help everyone get there. Hopefully with getting Twin on Farm that will include weapons because most of us don't want to bother with the Relic Path on secondaries (some of us not even primaries).

Tonight's headbutting Titan again. We're not having problems getting past Heart Phase anymore, but getting everyone through long enough to learn the last phase rotations is still a trouble. We're doing better without the monday/tuesday lag so hopefully this means we can make progress toward the clear. I for one look forward to leaving the rocky ******* behind me. But even if we clear, that won't be the case until he's on farm. x.x

----------------------------------

RP wise, I start my first storytelling event Sunday. The Prologue of a plot chain which will likely lead into the remainder of the year. If anyone's interested in reading the Synopsis, let me know. Not sure how many Rpers or readers we have here.

Get my Shards, Crystals, Clusters, and Gil back to a "Normal" level (aka everything above 1k).

So, I just heard about artisan spectacles (I've been gone for awhile).

Must have them. Smiley: nod

Level up WAR each day with Low-Level and Guildhest Roulettes. 45 now, getting close.

Help friends tonight with Titan and T5. Here's hoping.

And play with my little brother who is an aspiring level 11 Archer. Awesome.

My FC promotion policy: Don't play 10 days without an excuse, get bumped down a rank. Show your face, be nice, and contribute to the overall good ness of the team, get bumped up a rank. Once you hit council board you never get bumped up or down unless by majority council board vote.

I tend to shy away from in-game requirements, but if we bring someone in who is pretty well geared up and a good player, they will much more likely start higher up, then once the trust is built get boosted. I have a habit of giving more than half of the people in the FC pretty significant action and FC chest priveleges. But why not? Everyone should be able to contribute, provided they aren't dillholes I'll let them access everything but the gil (and my precious glazenut plants). Smiley: sly

I agree that I don't think a second class should be requirrreeeedd but I've personally found I like being versatile, so I have both my original healer and now my new shiny BLM both ready to go.

FFXIV:
I need a new goal now that I'm done with all the beast tribes. I'm thinking about maybe doing more crafting, but I'm not really in love with crafting or anything so I don't know. I like making up goals to work towards. Gives me a reason to log in besides just doing more dungeons and farming more tomes.

RL:
Sleep, watch anime, hang out with sister who's back in town.
Family is gathering on sunday to celebrate my sister and grandmother's birthdays. That should be fun.

Sadly denied again when it came to Titan. Part of me is really glad that I can go around this fight and get a Leviathan weapon later on, because it's just so frustrating seeing a person make a single mistake, and then be taken completely out of the fight.

A few more hours farming Atmas will nothing to show for it.

Really is nothing left to say. SE came out with Relic Upgrade system that is statistically guaranteed to ***** over some of the players.

What is the point of trying to explain why this system is so bad? So it will be fixed? Not gonna happen. The game will subtly suffer and life goes on.

It's kind of crushed my enthusiasm for playing my main job. Smiley: glare

1. Think I'm 10 soldiery from cap, I'll get it tonight. But I decided not to buy anything just yet. Got titan ex earring now, so I should be able to wait a week, buy the evenstar blm coat, and swap earrings to titan (+16 acc i think) and that will just give me enough accuracy to be able to finally swap out of the sorceror's coat and still hit twintania at 100%. Smiley: grin
2. I did not unlock turn 6. Smiley: frown I could have done that, I'm just not thinking about coil I guess. They will make it echo and df eventually. I'll work on novus and prepping for ninja first. Beat titan ex last night for my weekly, so I'm a garuda and ifrit away from three tokens needed for a ninja primal weapon. Smiley: cool
3. Got monk to 41. I do enjoy the job, can't wait to get it to 50, but there is so much else to do on my main jobs that I find it hard to budget the little time I have when I'm not idling like a hobo in front of EotSA house. Smiley: dubious
4. I got all the FATEs and all the leves done on book 6, one dungeon, and about half the enemies. So I'd say 65-70%. Goal accompished.Smiley: nod
5. I did revel. Smiley: tongue

I fell one leve and four monster groups short of finishing my final book last night, so I guess later tonight I'll be hosting my animus.

Finished Leather worker. So, now I am capable of doing all 3 star recipes for all crafts.

I have no excuses left for not doing any dungeons anymore... Other than the fact that I truly burned out on the grind. Which is ironic, if you consider the fact that I just finished my last Artisan tool (which means I went through a very painful grind to begin with...)

Must have been a true pain doing that in Dodore / Patrician's gear Smiley: eek

Nah, only 3/3 HQ for Cashmere right now, but I have an RNG heavy strat that the longer I synth, the greater my chance of HQ, and I can milk it for all it's worth (I average ~2,600 Quality on any given synth no matter the star rating, which puts me at ~80-90% if I don't get lucky. Bad luck, 18%, and I still HQed, good luck, 100%).

I haven't HQed Wolfram Ingots, or Cashmere cloth, but I have once with Terminus putty:). However, I have made a few of the heavy armor (I forget which ones), and NQed only one, and then my recent luck with Cashmere gear, I actually am doing better than people have implied I should be doing.

As for creating the 50x items, I do that while watching TV, I only have about 5 NQ when I get my 50 HQ. And I am sure most of those are because I get distracted, or lose track of where I am at.

The pain was farming the ingredients, the crystals, and shards... Then, like the Leather for example, with the 2 camp grounds for Hippogryph tha tI found, it took me ~2 1/2 hours for that, another hour for Shards, and ~ another 1/2 an hour for the Black Alumen. It took ~3 hours to make all of the hippogryph leather (which ironically I had my worst failure rate ever with, 26 NQ, 74 HQ... But that really was me not paying attentions). So, I had to go back out and farm more of everything.

Leatherworker to 15. Skipped LTW and did GSM. Same difference!
Craft a buttload of food Saturday and make as much gil as I can. I wanna break 300k again by Monday. Done and done.
Blow all that gil on Materia and start on my CRP melds. - Fail. I found some really nice furniture that I wanted for the house. Smiley: lol
Level BTN from 41-45 and hook my ALC buddy up with a pile of Mugwort. Got it to 42, but he now has a pile of mugwort and nutmeg.

And I beat Turn 5!!! At freaking last! Smiley: grin

I am on the leatherworker bracket now, still moving slow as xmas. But I have 140 HQ hyppogryph skins to help me along. Two things:
1. Three - four months of solid AK back when it was the thing that cool kids did.
2. Two retainers on solid XIII ventures for two months, where 3 hq hyppogryph skins drop off each retainer every 18 hours at nearly a 40% rate.

Figure out what I am doing since I am just getting back to the game and just transferred to Ultros. Probably figure out how to craft all the i90 stuff and HQ a set for all my 50s. Then maybe mess around in end game a bit more on my BLM and wait for NIN. Don't really have much left to level.

Considering that you need to first aquire the ilvl 70 crafter glasses (usually through culinarian, that is the cheapest route) then fully meld a specific crafter set for each specific craft (patrician's gear stats are too low after the patch), THEN craft 50 HQ 2 star untradable unsellable craft specific items to get the ilvl 70 tool that will finally allow you to just be able to meet the requirements to craft a 3 star item, I'm fairly sure you will stay busy for a bit Smiley: nod

Meh. I did a golden saw achievement in one day before (carpenter) from just about square one (since 1.0 synths didnt carry over towards it). I think I won't be occupied for as long as you might think. ^^;
