Is there a way to disable the banner ads that keep popping up on the bottom of my screen on my phone? This is the only website I frequent that I see them on. They are constantly jumping in the way of my navigation and are causing general mayhem to say the least.
Thanks

At a cursory glance it looks like you're not the only one having problems with ads on the mobile version of the site. My recommendation is to post this question in forum=3 for great justice.

There is a mobile version of the site that is ad-free, but that requires Premium. (It's not that much better than the normal site on mobile but at least no ads.)

I've pretty much stopped going to this site on mobile, to be honest. The site constantly loaded new ads, eating up my limited bandwidth and attacking me with fresh new annoyances at random intervals like trying to install malware, or automatically loading **** sites. There aren't any mobile browsers I know of that completely stop these abuses, so all-in-all it's a terrible experience. Seems like you should either pay for an ad-free sub or switch to a PC.

Er, if it's trying to install malware or going to ****, definitely report it. Unless policy has changed, ad rotation usually goes through an approval process here and bad ones get sniped.

It's pretty hard if not impossible to browse the website on your mobile at the moment. For iOS it's nothing but constant redirections to the appstore upon simply loading a page, not even clicking anything that pops up in the way, and an infinite amount of redirections to diffirent pages it doesnt open in a new tab but loads in your current tab that (luckily) end up not being able to load. Most of which are probably indeed malware downloads or scripts/flash for Android or such.

It's a lost cause.

Adverts annoy me when they're not simply just there but flash and scream for attention. Adverts really annoy me when they move around the screen to stay visible making it hard to read the site you're there for. Adverts that open iTunes or new tabs and set focus? Welcome to AdBlock son.
