crafting leve questionFollow
when doing the leves that require you to turn in 3x of the same items, and lets you do it 3 times off one allowance (thus you turn in 9 items total and get the exp of using 3 allowances off only using one), do those levels start at a certain level or can they be done with the very first set of leves that ask for 3x of one item?
Hi. I recall there was almost always the choice between the 'turn in 3x' and turn on 1x lvling WVR to 50.
However, I would not necessarily looks at doing the 3x leve as a faster way to gain exp. the 1x leve will return a lot more exp when you complete the quest. Plus the one item is normally higher level, yielding more xp for a successful craft. There is also the cost of mats to consider; that always drove me to one or the other.

I believe the "triple turn in" leves start at level 20.
Edit: to expand on that, you may see some leves before then that look like triple turn in, but aren't. For example, the Leatherworker Levequest Skin off Their Backs ask for 3 Aldgoat Leathers, and it is a single turn in levequest. One tip off is that a triple turn in levequest that asks for an intermediate ingredient and not a finished product (i.e. squares of leather, ingots, etc) will ask for 5 of them, not 3.

Cost and availability of materials always rated higher for me than the number of leves I had left. About the only time that triple turn ins REALLY made sense was fishing. The rest of the time, the doubled exp x3 was only slightly higher than the higher level doubled xpx1, and the latter took less time and effort to make in HQ.
If your limiting factor is levequest allowances (i.e. you spend them every day and constantly find yourself running out of them), then triple turn in leves are better. If your limiting factor is gil or time, then single turn in leves are better.
