I have a problem logging in to FFXIVFollow

hi everybody, first of all I have to make some excuses for myself first.
I'm new to all Equare enix account thing so I kind of have no clue. And also for this site too, if I'm in the wrong forum just let me know :)

I started to play FFXIV quite a while ago and I stopped because of my school thing, I used up all free 30 hours already. Then today I decided that I want to play it again and I forgot the password (i know it's dumb, i even felt so dumb too) and I changed it. Everthing was fine until i tried to log in.

this message came up

No valid or active service account is available to play FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn.

Proper registration through the FINAL FANTASY XIV: Mog Station is required.


like that and then I went to that MogStation and my status on the main page was 'not registered' but when I went to 'confirm account status' it said I'm already registered for The Realm Reborn since Feb. Now I'm confused. I registered for my payment and everything but not thing has changed

I need your help with this,
is it because i don't have the crysta?
if it's not because I didn't add crysta then what could it be and how can I fix it?

It's a bit diffirent, you have to deconstruct what they say a little.

This means just that. You either do not have a valid (unregistered) service account, or one that is not active at this time. Accounts can be deactivated if payment didnt go through for instance.

This should be taken not as an error notice, but as SE giving you a general piece of information, not so much directed at you, but everyone. "I saw you tried to login, it failed. Please take not that in order to play FFXIV you need a proper registration through the mog station" basicly.

It's not saying you do or do not have one. It's merely saying that it -is- an requirement for people that were unaware of this fact or have yet to switch over from the old system.

All in all, it's probably that your payment didnt go through yet, with it being the end of the month and all. Most likely due to not having any crysta in your wallet, or valid payment information from a creditcard inputted.
