yes Im aware of which dungeons gives the most tomes but doing said dungeons isnt necessarily the fastest way.... for example WP gives 30 tomes but can be speedrun in 10-15 mins by most ppl hats thats 120-180 tomes an hour whereas HM dungeons drop 50 tomes but take most ppl 30 mins... thats 100 tomes an hour... soo WP would be the fastest in said example... however o dunno if the new dungeons have been speedran yet sooo anyone with any insight on these able to tell whats the quickest way to get myth now?

Also i read this about the new weapons

"Per Yoshi P, patch 2.2 was made so that you have to work on one weapon and move onto another in a certain order - that means no skipping! This way, everyone must partake in trials, raids, and quest line. Yoshi P is the man!"

If theres "no skipping" does that mean someone with an il90 zenith can get an il1000 zodiac without getting one of the il95 weapons first?

it also goes on to say:

"Jalzahn will ask you to bring him 12 ATMA seals. These seals can be found in any FATEs in certain areas (apparently you can get as many atma of the same seal)"

does that mean for one weapon i dont have to get 12 DIFFERENT seals i could get 12 of the same seal and turn that in and still get the weapon?

All of the 4-man lv50 dungeons seem to be worth 50 myths now. The only reason to do the higher-tiered ones would just be for more soldiers.

If you don't have that dedicated group that's capable of speed running anything, CT is probably best overall. 100 myths (distributed among all the bosses, not just all at the end, so there is a little less incentive now for people to keep abandoning queue in hopes of getting that in-progress run), 10 soldiers, 4500 gil, and now you can lot whatever else you want (but so can everyone else...)

Here's my take on it Maxwell.

The first order of business is to Cap Weekly Soldiery Tomes. In fact we only have until Tuesday to get the first set of 450.

Therefore, first thing to do is Unlock the 3 new Dungeons + The Expert Roulette so you can get 45+25 bonus Soldiery each day. Unlocking the dungeons is going to be 50+50+50 =150 Myth and then a further 50 Myth from doing the expert Roulette (not from roulette just the 50 from doing a 4th dungeon).

Now you can do one dungeon a day (Expert Roulette) from here on for 70 Soldiery + 50 Myth. This seems the most effective use of time overall right now.

Unlocking Expert Roulette and New Dungeons:
The Lost City of Amdapor - Old Gridania (X:6 Y:10) - NPC: E-Sumi-Yan
Halatali (Hard) - Mor Dhona (X:22 Y:8) - NPC: Hugubert - Complete the quest "The Ultimate Weapon" and have cleared the original Halatali dungeon.
Brayflox's Longstop (Hard) - Mor Dhona (X:22 Y:8) - NPC: Bloezoeng - Complete the quest "The Ultimate Weapon."
- All of the new Dungeons are item level 55 or above

If going for Myth only, it seems Myth drops at the highest rate from the Main Story Roullete 80 + 20ish for whatever dungeon, or High level Roulette 50+50 from dungeon, or CT which is reported to give 100 Myth + 10 Soldiery.

Try this link.

Duty - Mythology - Soldiery
High Level Roulette - 50 - 10
Low Level Roulette - 60 - 5
Trials Roulette - 40 - 10
Main Story Roulette - 80 - 0
Guildhest Roulette - 0 - 0
Expert Roulette - 0 - 25

Dungeons
Duty - Mythology - Soldiery
CM - 20 - 0
Prae - ?? - ??
WP - 50 - 10
AK - 50 - 10
CM (HM) - 50 - 20
HM (HM) - 50 - 20
PS - 50 - 20
Hala (HM) - 50 - 45
Brayflox (HM) - 50 - 45
Lost City of Amdapor - 50 - 45

Okay I ran CT last night and didn't notice myth dropping on any bosses except the final boss... which was 30 myth... I was a bit pissed since I am still farming for my last piece of AF2 with my myth... (down to like 35 myth to go for the legs.)

I scrolled up to look for loot info just to be sure... has anyone here actually seen the 100 Myth from CT?

ok im consider soo do you get 100 tomes from CT or not?

as for the order of business.. well MY order of business is, unlock everything (all the roulettes, trials and coil 6 that is... dont really care about extreme primals atm as i havent even bothered to kill garuda yet), THEN get all of my jobs to full il90 (one of them is 2 rings away from il 90 the other 3 are still in full DL so i have a LOT of work to do now with the lowered myth drop rate (wll not lower since dungeons only dropped up to 50 myth before 2.2 but "lower" as in i figured since philo was going away myth would have taken the place or philo.. i.e 100 myth drops in some places w/o doing daily roulettes thus letting ppl get to il90 faster and easier to move on to the newer stuff faster), after that work on zodiac weapon for all jobs or at least ONE of them, after I get that THEN ill finally start caring about capping soldiery every week, until then thats at the bottom of my priorities list, kind like capping myth weekly was before i got all my jobs in full DL

It's a great question! Maybe someone will dedicate the time to verify this for sure.

I believe it dropped more than once. The last one was the only that dropped the new tomes and it was like 10...
CT also drops gil now on every boss.

Okay thanks for the replies guys, I just didn't see the myth drops on the other bosses, even though I was looking. Maybe I was wrong, I'll check again next time I'm on.

Another thing to keep in mind now with most (all?) of the 4-man dungeons:

The bosses other than the last boss are what drop the myth tomes, while the last boss drops the soldiery tomes.

In other words, if you've capped soldiery tomes for the week, there isn't any need to finish the dungeon. For instance, in AK, you could just stop the run after Demon Wall if myth tomes was all you wanted. In Pharos, you can stop after Zu (Tyrant doesn't drop any tomes; joke boss status confirmed)

Not that this really matters unless you've got a whole premade group that's on the same page as you (I don't want to be an advocate for people just bailing on dungeons because they have gotten what they wanted), but this is something that could make for potentially speedier speedruns.

DL gear and 'phil' mats in some of those coffers though...

Yes, but by the time you've beaten up to the 2nd to last boss, you've probably gotten MOST of it (particularly considering that 2nd to last boss usually drops two chests). And when you're restarting the dungeon quicker, you also get to those pieces of loot quicker too.

Yeah, farming Brayflox (first two bosses) for myth seems to be the fastest. Join with a premade group of 4, clear first two, leave.

Can weave in main story roulette too.
