What are you planning on getting done this weekend? Only two weeks left till that cap drops.
For me:
- I hope to take my newly minted lvl 50 (ilvl 68) dragoon through to get his relic, and purchase some more darklight.
- I would like to start leveling monk so I can clear out my low level armor.
- Level at least one gathering class to 50.

Hmmm this weekend I'm hoping to:
- Get WHM 34 -> 40
- Start levelling fishing so I have all gatherers at 50 (big fishing has me intrigued, even though all the info we have on it is a Roegadyn sat down XD).
- Drag my FC into T5 to see what it is like (none of us have ever entered it).
- Actually try Ultima HM and Garuda EX, keep putting this one off as the community is notoriously impatient and unkind to tanks XD.

Only goal for all playtime right now: Get caught back up to where I was in 1.0 as far as quests go.
To that end:
-Re-do class quests, as many as possible. Aiming to finish WHM, then do ARC, Carpenter, and BTN. More would be good.
-Get as much of the main story done as possible. Currently on "Lord of Crags". Would like to finish that and get through at least the next 5 levels worth of quests.
-Find a FC that plays during the times I play. (I feel bad about this one.)

I'm getting very tired of Extreme Garuda. Or rather, getting tired of people ditching her after one or two wipes, no matter how good the team is. We had her down to less than FIVE PERCENT the other night. The OT voked Sup and she didn't come, stoneskinned, and we wiped to the kaboom. The run was otherwise perfect. We had the strat down. What happens? One tank ragequits, the party drops out, and everyone but two of us leaves before I'm even done zoning back into town. Last night I joined an i80 PF group with my i80 BLM. I was kicked out for "parsing too low" in the one single attempt we had. Against i90 DPS. Left, reported to GM, went to CT with two friends.
Garuda EX would be fun, if other people didn't suck so bad as human beings.
Finish off my BLM relic.

Super OCD
- I took miner from lvl 35 - 50 with crazy fervor, built me an hq set of lvl 50 miner gear, and reveled in delight as I peeled 18 darksteel ore from a single node.
Also put 2 levels on botany and 4 levels on fisher. - Took monk from level 17 - 23.
- On the same day I hit 50 drg, I also got his relic.
I'm liking drg, if for nothing else than to give me a much easier time with titan. - Garuda EX down again. And for those who haven't tried the single healer approach, its the real deal.
At tornadoes (where I notice the most clusterf*c*s), OT+ meele go SE, MT goes NW, Healer goes SW, range DPS go NE. You get sufficient DPS to not make the phases very difficult at all. Good stuff. I also read good things about single tanking titan ex and single healer ifrit EX where the healer simply runs through ifrit to break line of sight and cancel that proximity debuff. - Helped my brother in arms Infamous Zero get his first relic on his warrior. Actually, since all I really did was pull some good folks in there to help, he stayed alive until the end, and I died to super rubberbanding effect (see below), doesn't feel like my ideal effort, but nevertheless, it is done, and that is good

Brd to 45, AF gear get. Qarn finally popped up on the DR, so I ran that and then got all of the current main story stuff done. Thornmarch was a lot easier than I expected. Also, this is the first week of running CT that I didn't get a price of gear. Damn Brd hat just won't drop.
I downloaded FFXI because the FC and coil group I am in seems to have died.
Logged in to cap myth on Hitome on Friday. Did a few CT runs hoping for a BRD piece to drop but nothing. I was also looking for the Crimson boots for my SMN but also no go. In a bit of a pickle. I obtained the Allagan book for SMN last week since no one wanted it and I currently have all my points in MND for SCH which I had been gearing up as my second job. Kind of double-edged sword, this dual class mechanic. Same with mythology. Theoretically, it would be better for me to gear up my SMN since they do more DPS in almost every fight now than my BLM but I can't do that since I spent all my myth on BLM and all my attribute points on SCH!
That makes 2 Allagan books for me, 0 scepters and the 17th week starts today. -_-

Got my BLM relic as stated, then Started and Finished my SMN relic on Saturday (3 relics now, including my main WHM).
Sunday I took a day to relax and I leveled my Lalafell alt all day.. not because I want or need a Lalafell, but because I wanted to get him to level l17 and through enough story progression that he could hire Retainers! OMG MORE SPACE!! That's the only reason seriously.

Computer up and running, logged in and took PUG from 19 to 26, crafting HQ gear for myself along the way.
Amazing how many leve allowances you end up with after a forced 2-week absence!

A good rule of thumb is never let your leve allowances be capped. Leves are such easy money, even if you just do a few HQ turn-ins each day with a level-50 crafting job.

Finished CNJ (which is what I meant by WHM above) and ARC quests. Am on level 50 CRP quest.
Did accomplish my story line goal. Completed Lord of Crags and am now up to the next dungeon.
Finally got my titan clear on Sunday afternoon. Then after a 3 hour session, my coil static finally got our first Twintania win! So excited to have gotten the clear before 2.2 :D
Then Monday, we did it again! Summoner book dropped both times :/
