I like that the two new Hard Mode dungeons have been revamped/reskinned.

The bastards totally trashed Brayflox Smiley: mad

Not bad. Worried that the item requirements mean that nothing worthwhile will drop at these. More dungeons on par with Copperbell and Haukke (Hard) are not exactly what I am craving from Patch 2.2.

I want dungeons that are ilvl 75+ or even 80+ to go with the new higher level gear. Are they going to keep releasing dungeons after the gear dropped is already irrelevant? It would be cool to run a regular 4-man, Light Party dungeon looking for new high level gear drops.

Lol, Pharos Sirius should be ilvl 70. But we know for a fact that the Lost City is going to drop a new type of tomestone that will be capped, so perhaps another set of artifact armor is in the works?

Apparently. Who knew?

Anyway, I really like Brayflox's Longstop. It's one of the few dungeons that isn't a cave and/or dark abandoned building.

Off topic, I was reading (and have experienced) that being high ilevel is actually worse in Pharos. The faster you kill the pirate (for example) the faster the dogs come out making it harder to manage. Where a lower ilvl would just work at a slower pace making it surprisingly more manageable.

This, I think is also the case with Atmos in CT.

I agree though with Gnu and would like to see some higher level armor or weapons from these new dungeons. Or more myth or something.

Haukke and copperbell hard are required ilvl 49 right? If the new dungeon is ilvl 55 im expecting it to drop ilvl 70 gear. I dont think we needed this as i70 is easily covered by darklight. This makes it even easier to get i70 now i suppose. I would have liked to see dungeons with higher gear as well. Looks like only leviathan and coil 6-9 is going to have gear beyond 90. But the patch isnt here yet so ill wait and see.

Well, you get higher gear by accumulating the new tomes from the dungeon.

Yea most likely..
I wish they had relic gear that could be upgraded..

I hope there is a upgrade for relic weapon.. Relic In my opinion should always be the best weapon in the game.

Yep so true..
You know what is funny is with atmos the parties are in a rush to see which can beat the other and that causes wipes... At least someone else realizes this..

Having gung-ho DPS who don't know the fight is what's worse in Pharos, ha!

I've gotten really good at tanking that pirate; while the dogs are out, I literally slow down my button spam to about half my normal speed... just creep along to keep that DPS low. Works every time.

So, does that mean SE heard the cries of people complaining about DPS checks, and decided to make a reverse DPS check???

Which is hilarious because the "boss" before Siren is a DPS race. SE dun confuses me. :)

The dogs come out at certain HP thresholds (I think it's every 10-15% roughly). Unlike all other bosses that have a shift in behavior when certain HP thresholds are breeched (i.e. 85%/55% on Titan/Twintania, 55% on Garuda, 70% on Cadecus, etc.) there's no transition period to signify that something's occurring. However, it isn't a "reverse DPS check" but just a fight where you can't ignore the adds like you can on Tyrant later on.

In fact the entire instance is just one massive "learn that dealing with adds can be different in how it's done". You need to kill the dogs quickly, pace yourself on Zu's eggs/hatchlings, can completely ignore Tyrant's adds, and prioritize the crawling zombies on Siren.
