looking pretty pimp right? a good advertiser for this game to go and attract archers into the game- oh but we didn't tell them! we took 80% of the armor options away from archers and on top of that! lets take that ad armor and pull it from the game.
ok this is getting rediculous for me to have to gripe about these small things when i should be using my time for - I don't know- enjoying their damn game? i just got off of paladin because too many people are throwing money and boners at me to receive flashes. Bunch of sick perverts!
I wan't my starting gear and if my starting gear has to be Dalmatica, Acton, or Cowl, I'll tell you to go shove it because that armor was designed be twelve year olds and I am not going to be scaling in this game looking like Mickey Mouse.
Sear it frustrates me when you get all the way through college with my tender sausage all nice and turned and then dump this crap on me when I get home. I don't want to see this! I want my variety and I shouldn't have things taken from me when I chose to be a certain class.

You still have 2 separate "goodbye forever" threads on the first page of the forum, and you're telling me in a new thread you've gone back to playing FFXIV again just to gripe about it some more?

I have to agree with the OP. I went to school today wearing something that looked like that and got all the ladies. I've never seen so many wet panties in my life. It really is infuriating that SE would remove such a work of art and genius. I'm not sure what sausages have to do with this but yeah yeah YEAH.

I recognize those boots actually. I think they're now low level crafting boots.

Yes if they actually listened w would have more clothing options, and not just tacked on to every class for ***** and weaboo giggles. Could have slowed down the game buts its too late everyone bumrushed the game and is choking on death to get anything new despite my warnings and cries. Its great depression in this MMOs now, have fun with the mess you all supported.

I kind of understand where you are coming from, gear options are limited early on...
However, even leveling at a modest pace the low level gear isn't going to last very long. I play 2 hours a day. I spend 1 hour running myth dungeons/primals on paladin, and 1hr lvling a new class, in this case Dragoon. On the 1st day leveling for 1hr (specifically targetting hunting log mobs), I hit level 8, which at the start of the game, took me through 3 level tiers of gear (1 > 5 > 8).
Leveling past 35 this rate slows down because of leve changes etc, but the point stands, if you are serious about leveling archer/bard, it will only take until ~lvl15 to start getting unique gear (dungeon loot), and even if you don't get lucky on lots, you will out level that gear at a fierce pace when you include dungeon/roulette/fate/leve/quest/hunting log/main scenario xp that I really cannot see where the issue lies. Don't like your lvl 15 gear? Hit lvl 18 and it becomes irrelevant.
I dread to think about the hissy you are going to throw when you realise the i90 archer/bard gear is a bright pink and frilly top with fluorescent tights (no joke).

It's all way better than 1.0 where you were locked into peasant gear for the first twenty levels or so because nobody bothered to make lowbie stuff in different colors.
