PS3 + Vita?Follow
So I've been playing since Beta on PS3 and saw that if a PS3 player buys a PS4 they can download FFXIV: ARR for free. So far I've been content playing on PS3, (don't wan a get into it about lag/loading/graphics) ANYWAYS my question is for the Remote Play on Vita do I need to go buy a PS4? or can I just buy a Vita and play?
no because ps3 remote play shares resources with other functions thus not having the memory to run something like xiv (or most other games period) plus have space left over to use those other functions. ps4 however has dedicated hardware just for remote play

I'm assuming that the PSV version of FFXIV: ARR will be free? How will that work? I don't have a Vita so I don't know.

There is not an actual separate PSV version. The 'PSV' version is actually the PS4 version being played on a Vita via Remote Play from a PS4. The PS4 version itself is free for owners of the PS3 version.

Just want to chime in the remote play on vita during the PS4 beta FAR exceeded expectations. You can't read any text beside the chat log if you bump the font, but gameplay has been great, and it's not just for crafting etc.

He said you could do some single player missions, etc. Have you tried anything else? I'm thinking like Beastmen Quests, low level leves, anyone try those?
