Fair enough, economy is ruined already anyhow on the new servers. What damage can an influx of Max-gear-all-50 crafters still do it it now?

Those exist on all servers. Most people on Legacy servers didn't have too much of a head start because 1.0 was so bad.

My old 1.0 character had every class to lvl 20 with about 60k in gil. I think the most damage I can do on a non legacy server is to gimp my party and wear only the old 1.0 clothing.
On my old legacy account I have every crafting class at 50 and had around 125 million gil. I know gil was supposed to be cut down to 1/10th did that ever happen? Also If I resub and transfer to a non legacy server do I get to bring all that gil with me?
You're allowed to transfer 1million Gil per character and 100 million per retainer.

There are fresh 2.0 players that had this before I did on my 1.0 person.

I can't get my darn transfer. As far as I can tell I've met all the requirements. Converted all my calamity stuff, got my retainers back, etc... did anyone else run into issues?

Any chance you're in the PS4 beta? I am, and was not going to even attempt transfer until the beta is over. Something tells me SE would miss this point ^^
Nope, I have a PC and PS3 version registered, but I don't plan on getting a PS4 anytime soon.

I had the same issue in trying to transfer yesterday. I thought I cleaned out the Calamity NPC alas I didn't, after taking the items it still wouldn't let me transfer. It wasn't until after I hired a 2nd retainer and cleaning out the Calamity NPC that it allowed it to go through. I totally forgot that I had a 2nd one when I left in December (Year it came out).
