Let me start by saying Happy Valentine's Day to everyone. Now that the formalities are out of the way, let's get down to the nitty gritty. I'm not going to get a lot of time to play this weekend, but I'm still setting some pretty steep goals for myself.
Goals:
-Bard is currently 38. I have a week to get to 45, do the last part of the Lightning chain, and collect 3 more parcels for the weapons. This has to get done.
-The way it will get done is by doing Cutter's Cry and attempting to knock out my Low Level and Guildhest Duty Roulette each day. This shouldn't be a problem tonight and Sunday, but Saturday could be a problem because...
-Got PFS all day Saturday. I'm GMing a module in the afternoon and then playing in one that evening. That means I probably won't get more than an hour or 2 to play, so I'll have to make the most of it.
What are you guys hoping to get accomplished this weekend? And remember to come back on Monday and let us know how you did!

I was finally able to get my BRD to 50 this past week. My first level 50.
I need to run Aurum Vale to get my next GC rank. I also need to do story mode Garuda. Anything beyond that is a bonus.

Capped my myth and spent it already on my shiny red bravura zenith, so this weekend I'll likely take it slow. Two weeks until the warrior chest piece.
- Level my conjurer past 16 to the eventual point where I acquire stoneskin.
- Put a few levels on my last three crafts (alchemy, blacksmith, armorer). They are all in their thirties right now.
- Probably bring miner or fisher up there so I can start getting treasure maps.
All this means that I probably will zip right through those leve allowances.

During the course of that farming I should get my last 40 or so Myths for the week.
Most importantly it's date night tonight. Thai food here we come! Secondly important is 10+ of my RL friends and I are going disc golfing in a cave tomorrow. Disc golf in a cave you say? I do say. It's fricken' awesome. This old sandstone copper mine has two (2) eighteen hole disc golf courses in it, complete with under ground water hazards and baskets lit up with rope lighting. They sell mini flashing strobe lights to tape to your disc so you don't lose them in the dark corners. And there is a fully stocked underground bar where we load up our cooler(s) with tasty beverages. Hell ya! Gonna be super fun.
FFXIV will just have to take a backseat until Sunday.

I managed to get my Archer/Bard to Level 40 this week, so here's my goals for this weekend:
1. Continue working towards level 45 so I can do the 4th and last Lightning FATE. I will probably only get to Level 42 or 43 over the weekend (though I'll try to go higher), so this may extend into the week. I want to be done before the start of the PS4 beta test.
2. IF I can get to level 45 this weekend, I will do the last Lightning FATE immediately.
3. Do the Valentine's stuff for my wife with her THM.
That's basically it. I'm mostly concerned about getting to level 45. I got the CE for Lightning Returns, and I'm REALLY looking forward to playing it, but I'm determined to finish the Lightning Strikes event before I start playing. I can enjoy LR more once I've done so.

Back in the day my country music loving extended family used to drive up to Branson Missouri from Texas every year (damn I sound backwoods) and we used to drive over to Springfield Missouri and go in that big cave at Silver Dollar City. Really awesome caves in that area.

I have a 3 day weekend which I'm going to try to cram a lot of things into. That being said I only have 3 main goals.
- Finish the last 2 story dungeons on my white mage.
- Level summoner 1-3 levels. I'm aiming for 3 so I can hit 45 but I'll settle for any advancement time permitting.
- Clear the story up through ifrit on my alt tank. I'm level 19 on that character and still need to do Copperbell.

Hm well we're almost done with the weekend but I didn't see this post until now!

Didn't really set any goals this weekend as I had to work on Sunday, and with Friday being Valentines Day.
Here's what I got accomplished
PLD 33 -> 34/35
Friday Night BC - Had 1 FC member new to BC and 1 other that was new to Turn 1, we struggled this night without a getting a kill
Sunday Night BC - Had 2 FC members new to BC. Pugged 2 outside members to fill our group, 1 of which was also new to BC
Cleared Turns 1 & 2 Sunday Night, a lot of good things happened drop wise this evening. For those who have been running this as a group we have never seen a single BRD drop, this was until last night. Allaghan Bracelt of Aiming dropped.
I won the Bracelt, one of our FC(healer) new BC members won a healing chocker. One of our pugged BLM (was new to BC) got casting boots. Nicely done everyone.

1. I managed to get from Level 40 to Level 42 (and more than halfway towards 43) in a day (Sunday) doing nothing but FATE parties. I haven't done FATE parties before, but I actually had a lot of fun doing them. I'm determined to get to Level 45, so I'll continue doing them until I reach that goal, which should only be another 2-4 days at most. I'll get to 43 tonight most likely.
2. Not done this weekend, of course, but should do sometime during the week.
3. Forgot to do this for my wife.
And An Additional Accomplishment:
4. My wife's main character, a THM, was on Coeurl, and I had a character there, a GLA, that I used to play alongside her. My main character (used in the above accomplishments) is on Hyperion and I happen to really like my FC there. So, to make things easier for us, I transferred our Coeurl characters to Hyperion so they could join the FC. Ouch...two server transfers...expensive.
My goal for this week, and I SHOULD be able to accomplish it: Get to Level 45 and complete the final Lightning FATE.
Edit: My FC bought its first house. :) It's a small house located in Mist, and we got a really nice location. It's on the beach, in the 'center', and the view is great. Also, no neighbors at the moment. Currently, there are 36 people in the FC, but the house is already fully and nicely decorated. A fellow member found a way to get on top of the roof, which is a cool spot to get some nice views.

I didn't get nearl as much done as I would have liked. Bard is only 40 (maybe hit 41 this morning before work, I don't remember). I've got 6 days to get 5 levels so I can finish the Lightning event. I'm sure it will be back again eventually, but I'd prefer to knock it out now. PFS was a lot of fun on Saturday. Almost killed a few people in the module I ran, but thankfully nobody died.

Got these two done. I got my first piece of Darklight gear, a Darklight Hunting Belt. Much more grinding to come.

Got my Relic on Dragoon later that evening. Did it all several times before so it wasnt that big of a deal anymore. Still, a little more troublesome since i didnt have the benefit of either tanking Titan and not having to move, or Barding Titan and being nice and far away with a clear view of him.
Did Hydra, Ifrit and Garuda with some guys from «PDF», no idea what their FC stood for but they were a fun bunch helping a member of theirs get through it so i tagged along for a bit. Party Findered for Titan after a short break with a decent group that took only twice to kill it, with a good portion of them being people trying to unlock relics as well. Quite an achievement if you look at it like that, but i bet many of them before completed it on other jobs as well.
Kind of sad i made so much progress on what is essentially a "valentine weekend", but oh well. Progress is progress.
