Curious, I also can't access finalfantasyxiv.com or any related support pages. Do I have virus? Or is **** down right now?

This was posted at 2:18am EST, so there is a very real possibility the game went down for maintenance if you were trying to connect to the NA data center. They usually do a reboot roundabouts then.

For future reference check http://www.arrstatus.com/ to check if the servers are up. You can also check them in the xiv login client.
