hi guys,

Ive come across a bit of an issue with how me and my friends play. We are pretty casual as all of us a mid twenties and in full time work plus a life outside of the house.
We have small FC for our friends only 7 or 8 of us.

Now we are at end game and most of us are completing DL gear setup we really need to start looking at statics to complete content. My issue is that you can only have 1 FC and i dont want to disband ours but everyone runs statics in FC's not LS's. I dont really want to join a 100 strong FC where im just another drop in the ocean because i only put in maybe 2-10 hours a week.

Personally i saw a FC for groups of friends and that looks like how it heading with the housing etc. I saw LS as content statics like a Coil LS or a HM primal one.

thoughts ?

does anyone have static LS runs on cerberus ?

I don't generally run any of the events with my FC either. I run Coil with a great LS I stumbled on when I joined a shout party early on. They invited me to mumble, we had a great time, and afterwords I got a LS invite. Now we static coil each week.

I recently got another LS invite from a friend that joined a much more Hardcore FC than our is. I don't have the time to meet their nightly schedule of events, but they have a LS for just that reason. Now I can see what they are up to each night and decide if I have the time to join up.

For myself, I find the FC/LS system to be ideal. Just start out by joining pick-up groups or shout parties. You will stumble on established groups and you can ask for LS invites. Over time you will populate your LS list with varying LS groups doing different things.

Collecting LS from cool players you meet will give you lots of options for joining events and asking for help when you need it!

I don't know man, I have a FC with 11 people, and most are not endgame. I joined a server pug for mog king one day as dps, then tank, chatted it up, they liked my gear, and now I have access to a big linkshell that functions sort of like an alliance for several FC's which recruits people to sub for endgame activities (and inform everyone of the daily comings and goings). Nice folks too. I also have a linkshell between a few close friends that we use to chat and a linkshell to communicate just with my officers. I color code them to they arent all that wierd green color, and it works pretty well.

Even on my old server, linkshells most effectively functioned as a way to communicate between multiple free companies, and also as a way to communicate exclusively among small groups of friends. And to warn you about Odin. Smiley: tongue
