Random FC invitesFollow

So I'm sitting here playing, and out of no where I get a random FC invite, this isn't uncommon at all to me, especially playing WoW with that retarded addon people use to mass invite and such. I click on it and decline like every other random FC invite. (I'm sorry but if you cant take the time to send me a tell then i'm going to assume your FC is ran or filled with a group of lazy anti social members) Then it happens, I get another, I'm like ok whatever, declined again, then another, and another and so on. This happens for an hour straight, I eventually just ignored it after the 5th attempt and let the timer run out on its own. I find this rude, I couldn't report for it I don't think because I couldn't find out who was doing it, I can't block them or anything I don't think. I kinda felt helpless and as if I were being abused by some little child or something.

Has anyone else had this similar problem? If so is there a good way to deal with it other than sending a tell calling them (insert hateful remark or racist slur here)

Haven't had this happen since the first few days...

Maybe your name is similar to someone who asked to join the FC?

I've chosen not to join an FC, so I usually get three to four random invites a week. My favorite was a group calling themselves North America. I had three invites from them in a single sitting.

It's because, as said in another thread, there is no social mobility because people are limited to one FC. That's why groups will aggressively try to recruit.

I usually get anywhere from 3-4 invites a day from the same FC, but I probably wont see another invite from them for a couple of days. If I remember right the FC name was The Wall, or something like that. I understand what you're saying about the community though, I play on Exodus which i think is one of the highest populated servers but I rarely see anyone talking, or atleast in the 1-30 areas. Most of the time its just people asking for fate groups though.

I've been spammed invites by North America several times a day also. I'm curious if adding the person(s) constantly blind inviting me to my blacklist would also stop the invite spam. Does anyone know if that would work?

Unless they changed it recently, blacklisting a person does not stop Party Invites, FC invites or Linkshell invites :/ Used to have the same problem.

Anyone that blind invites me more than once to anything (after I've already declined once) gets reported for harassment. If blisting worked, I'd just do that, but since it doesn't...

At least I got pulled into friends' FC right as I first logged into the game, so I've never had to deal with FC invites. The only times I've ever had the above instance occur was with people trying to invite me for a FATE group (which I've never asked for)

Being FC-less for a few days, I was getting invite after invite after invite on Lamia, but fortunately not more than once. But I have also been guilty of sending out FC invites to FC-less folks without first sending a tell, but I never send more than once to the same person. I'm not trying for harassment. But I will make it a point to send a /tell prior to the invite from this point forward.
