Unspoken ThanksFollow

#1 Jan 27 2014 at 1:02 PM Rating: Excellent
The one thing I've noticed about playing FFXIV here my first week is there really is no thanks given, which isn't a bad thing. I'm sitting here doing my quests and up comes a random player and helps me complete my quest out of the goodness of their heart and then we both run off to our next task, you meet up later and help that same person out, there are no words shared but you both think to yourselves "thanks" and share a mental /brofist.

Purpose of this thread is to voice that thanks, even if you haven't helped me personally, why not voice it for all the people you have helped in the past. You guys make my time in FFXIV enjoyable even if you're not trying ^_^

I always try and blurt a "thanks" or a "ty" out if I get help from someone, but often I am too slow as I play with a controller, and my keyboard is usually out of reach while I am doing solo things. I love the fact that random people don't mind helping out their fellow players.

Whenever I see someone doing a quest, and I am nearby I'd often switch to PLD and pull non quest mobs off him/her so they don't have to worry about getting killed. (Sylph beast tribe quests as an example, just about every objective is surrounded by aggro mobs!)
