Has anyone been able to actually fish at all since the patch?
Doesn't matter where I go, "Something is amiss" pops up in any zone.
It's incredibly ******* irritating when you're trying to work on achievements.

I know you can cap out a fishing hole with attempts... maybe this means you fished too much overall? no idea.
Well, this has been since patch 2.15. So 3rd day and still unable to fish. And considering that going after achievements is able the only thing that interests me at the moment outside of Coil it's kinda irritating when I want to finish out fishing first, and can't do so.
(and yes, I'm trying multiple zones before someone asks.)

I just logged on and tried fishing. No problems at all.
I haven't had any issues, but I only fish up maps. Before when I had fishing issues, closing the game and logging back in was enough to clear the amiss error.
I've been getting my map everyday. I haven't tried any other holes though. Hope you get it fixed.
As a 50 FSH, where should I go every day to get my peisteskin map? I've been 50 FSH for over a week and haven't bothered to fish up a single peisteskin map.
There are 3-4 locations, i usually just go to The North Shards x30,y5 in Mor Dhona since I'm in rev toll a lot. Usually get it within a few minutes. I've noticed since i have all 3 gathering classes at 50 that fishing is by far the fastest to get it. Probably due to the fact that you can only fish up a certain map at certain locations.
I was doing fishing leves in Mor Dhona to finish up 45-50, fishing just southeast of Revenant's Toll, and I never caught a pesiteskin map. I did keep catching other types of maps, but once I had deciphered one and had another in my bags, I kept having to throw them back. At least they gave like 5k exp so it wasn't a complete waste.

The place I use is a level 50 hole, go east from Rev Toll and keep north. Theres an area that heads north up on a cliff, you have to stay to the bottom area. Once you get by the giants the area changes from a blue to reddish color and you can fish from up on the cliff. Below level 50 I got a warning that there was something below but couldn't fish there.
I'll have to check it out. I also need to finish my level 50 FSH quest, but I don't think I have nearly good enough gear to double mooch and I refuse to just buy one off the market board.

Took me about 15-20 mins in Raptor gear iirc.
Yeah I'm in like level 35ish or so HQ gathering gear right now. Granted, I've got 157 goby balls, so I could sit there and try, try, try, but I'd rather wait until I get my DoH jobs up and can craft myself a full set of HQ "fishing AF".
Speaking of crafting your own gear, I ran into the problem this morning of needing better gear for my weaver, but not having good enough gear to HQ it. It was actually quite funny despite being frustrating.

This is a big reason for why I wound up doing everything at once too. It can definitely be frustrating lol.
