50 War. I have Item lvl 70 combo gear (darksteel) that takes two equipment slots, head/body and legs/feet. I have enough myth tomes for a 90 piece. Should I .....
A> save up enough for two pieces of 90 gear to replace my heavy dark armor.
B> get lvl 90 head now and wear a lvl 60 body to fill the void since highest alternative head I have is 55. 2 steps forward 1 step back.
C> get lvl 90 jewelry and remain looking like a darksteel beetle until maybe some lvl 80 pieces drop in CT

u don't want your myth war helm due to it having absolutely no parry on it. so if u gonna get a myth piece choose another piece. from what I understand CT(crystal tower) has head and I think body that will work for you.

he wont be getting allagan helm for a LONG time. besides that warrior head is BiS so why would he NOT want it?

I used this list to see what you can get quickly in BC, and what is going to take forever to get. For instance, the WAR allagan helm won't drop until turn 5, so you may as well upgrade it now.
Edit: I think CT loots are better than DL now, but those are going to come fairly slowly as well.
I just got my last myth armor piece for my WAR recently, now I just need to work on the acc's, of which I have one (the VIT ring), so it's still gonna be a couple weeks.
Personally, I couldn't get out of that DL chest fast enough, so the chest was the first myth piece I bought. I wore the hoplite head till I could get the myth helm.
